sock puppet[edit]

This user is a sock puppet of a bot operator. No new user would start on the bot noticeboard. --Rob (talk) 06:31, 17 August 2008 (UTC)[reply]

If you think that someone is using sockpuppets and wish to get further people's comments on the matter, you should create a report at Wikipedia:Suspected sock puppets and follow the instructions there. --ENAIC (talk) 06:33, 17 August 2008 (UTC)[reply]
A newbie familiar with bots and sock puppet policy? I am not seeking to block this account, so there's no need for a report. Generally, it's only the sophisticated socks that fool people that are really harmful. This sock isn't that sophisticated. --Rob (talk) 06:39, 17 August 2008 (UTC)[reply]
Your comments do not appear within the top three levels of dispute resolution hierarchy. --ENAIC (talk) 06:44, 17 August 2008 (UTC)[reply]
What dispute? Have I said anything you contest? --Rob (talk) 06:52, 17 August 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Your user page, et al[edit]

Normally we don't allow people to add huge amounts of external links for no clear reason. It's sometimes considered link spam. But, anyhow, I won't re-remove them.

Frankly, I think we've both been a little rude. I shouldn't have said "troll". But you shouldn't have launched the sarcastic insulting put down of me. I would be willing to pursue a dispute resolution, if you tell who I have a dispute with, and what is disputed. At the moment, I'm not aware of any factual dispute. --Rob (talk) 07:15, 17 August 2008 (UTC)[reply]
