A tag has been placed on your user page, User:Eaglemanltd, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section G11 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the page appears to be advertising which only promotes or publicises someone or something. Promotional editing of any kind is not permitted, whether it be promotion of a person, company, product, group, service, belief, or anything else. This is a violation of our policies regarding acceptable use of user pages — user pages are intended for active editors of Wikipedia to communicate with one another as part of the process of creating encyclopedic content, and should not be mistaken for free webhosting resources or advertising space. Please read the guidelines on spam, the guidelines on user pages, and, especially, our FAQ for Organizations.

If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, and you wish to retrieve the deleted material for future reference or improvement, then please contact the deleting administrator. January 2021[edit]

Your account has been blocked indefinitely from editing because of the following problems: the account has been used for advertising or promotion, which is contrary to the purpose of Wikipedia, and your username indicates that the account represents a business or other organisation or group or a web site, which is against the username policy.

You may request a change of name and unblock if you intend to make useful contributions other than promoting your business or organization. To do this, first search Special:CentralAuth for available usernames that comply with the username policy. Once you have found an acceptable username, post the text {{unblock-spamun|Your proposed new username|Your reason here}} at the bottom of your talk page. Replace the text "Your proposed new username" with your new username and replace the text "Your reason here" with your reasons to be unblocked. In your reasons, you must:

  • Disclose any compensation you may receive for your contributions in accordance with the Wikipedia:Paid-contribution disclosure requirement.
  • Convince us that you understand the reason for your block and that you will not repeat the kind of edits for which you were blocked.
  • Describe in general terms the contributions that you intend to make if you are unblocked.
Appeals: If, after reviewing the guide to appealing blocks you believe this block was made in error, you may appeal it by adding the text {{unblock|Your reason here}} at the bottom of your talk page. Replace the text "Your reason here" with the reasons you believe the block was an error, and publish the page. 331dot (talk) 10:49, 12 January 2021 (UTC)[reply]
This user's unblock request has been reviewed by an administrator, who declined the request. Other administrators may also review this block, but should not override the decision without good reason (see the blocking policy).

Request reason:

Wanted to put up a description which unknowingly resulted to violation of Wikipedia terms, after which I removed it instantaneously in order to contribute more to the community Eaglemanltd (talk) 10:55, 12 January 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Decline reason:

That was an advertisement, not a description. "NinjaRobotPirate is a some random IT guy who donates his time to Wikipedia" is a description. "NinjaRobotPirate has years of experience performing computer security work on Wikipedia, and you should hire him for your next IT project" is an advertisement. See the difference? That said, if you plan on editing Wikipedia as a volunteer to write encyclopedia articles, I see no reason why we can't unblock you. Just tell us what you intend to edit. NinjaRobotPirate (talk) 07:36, 31 January 2021 (UTC)[reply]

If you want to make any further unblock requests, please read the guide to appealing blocks first, then use the {{unblock}} template again. If you make too many unconvincing or disruptive unblock requests, you may be prevented from editing this page until your block has expired. Do not remove this unblock review while you are blocked.

Contested deletion[edit]

This page is not unambiguously promotional, because... (It was my first time, and I wanted to make a brief introduction. However, after seeing the tag and having realized my mistake, I went straight to edit and remove the content. Hope my petition will be considered and accepted) --Eaglemanltd (talk) 10:50, 12 January 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Since you blanked the content, your user page does not need to be deleted, but please review the notice above. 331dot (talk) 10:51, 12 January 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Yes I reviewed it, thanks for understanding as I am confident to do better henceforth Eaglemanltd (talk) 10:57, 12 January 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Since "Eagleman" is the name of what I assume is your company, you cannot use it as your username, please review the username policy. Your username must represent you as an individual(your real name is not required). If you wish "Eagleman" to be a part of your username, you may format it as "JohnDoe of Eagleman". 331dot (talk) 10:58, 12 January 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Well understood, how about changing it to "realukman"? Eaglemanltd (talk) 11:04, 12 January 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Unfortunately that is taken. Please edit your existing request(as I did) to put a different choice; no need for a completely new request. 331dot (talk) 11:18, 12 January 2021 (UTC)[reply]

I'm just familiarising myself with the environment now, thus I'm finding it difficult to edit the request. Please help change it to "Realux" Eaglemanltd (talk) 11:28, 12 January 2021 (UTC)[reply]

I have changed your username and someone else will review your request. 331dot (talk) 11:31, 12 January 2021 (UTC)[reply]
