MBB Cars

[edit]

You and I are pretty sure by now that the MBBs have left CT Rail. Unfortunately on the CT Rail page no one is convinced unlike on the Hartford Line page, which mentions now that they are withdrawn. And no matter how hard I have tried, my edits keep getting reverted. Any ideal sources we can use to cite the MBBs being removed from CT? Davidng913 (talk) 05:28, 13 January 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Information icon Welcome to Wikipedia. We appreciate your contributions, but in one of your recent edits to Providence and Worcester Railroad, it appears that you have added original research, which is against Wikipedia's policies. Original research refers to material—such as facts, allegations, ideas, and personal experiences—for which no reliable, published sources exist; it also encompasses combining published sources in a way to imply something that none of them explicitly say. Please be prepared to cite a reliable source for all of your contributions. You can have a look at the tutorial on citing sources. Thank you. Pi.1415926535 (talk) 00:30, 15 August 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Especially for a featured article, we simply cannot have anything in the article not backed by reliable sources. Yes, I know 2016 was a number of years ago, but that's the most recent source I've found that sources the entire fleet. Post G&W acquisition, what counts as the fleet is rather fluid anyhow. The Trains Magazine cover story from 2016 just before P&W was acquired is probably the last definitive source we will have on the fleet composition for the foreseeable future. In recent days I have noted that the fleet is often shared with NECR and CSO which I found a reliable source for. Trainsandotherthings (talk) 20:52, 15 August 2024 (UTC)[reply]
