Promotional editing[edit]

Wikipedia has some strict policies about conflicts of interest and paid editing, meaning that if you work for the Half Moon Festival, you must disclose this fact. I'll go ahead and add an appropriate template on your user page and on the article's talk page. Please review the links in bold, then discuss any changes on the talk page rather than replacing the article's content with your own. —Guanaco 20:52, 29 May 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Hi Guan,

Thanks for the explanation. I work several clients, one of which is Half Moon Festival, but my goal here is only to provide more accurate info that the one that is currently on the page. I am not looking to promote, only to inform better. I hope you can help me.

I am very happy to modify any part that of any of my texts that can be judged promotional. Again, my goal here is not professional (promote HMF), it is just informative to serve the community.

The current article is outdated, it has many mistakes and I just want to provide updated and correct information.

Some facts about HMF that are not correctly stated in the present article:

- The event has 3 dance floors since 2 years now, not 1 like said on the current article. (you can check the website and see the pics/description of the 3 dancefloors if needed) - The event started in 2002, it has been running every year since 15 years inside the same FOREST location. - The event is not at random dates between full moon and new moon, as stated in the article. It is one week before and one week after the full moon. - I find the current sentence in the article " Unlike the FMP, a charge is made for admission, although this is genuinely to enhance the security of the event as much as make profit" to be wrong and misleading. The reasons: FMP charges a mandatory admission since over 5 years now! And ALL professional events are made to make profit, they are professional commercial businesses. Why mention it particularly for HMF?

I would like to provide objective, informative and factual information about the event described on that page. I don't understand why it is so hard to get things straight. Please help me...

Best Regards, Selim

If you want to go ahead and edit the article I'll check it over. Use your best judgment; if there's a problem someone will fix it or at least point it out. —Guanaco 13:40, 30 May 2017 (UTC)[reply]
