If you are affiliated with some of the people, places or things you have written about on Wikipedia, you may have a conflict of interest. In keeping with Wikipedia's neutral point of view policy, edits where there is a conflict of interest, or where such a conflict might reasonably be inferred, are strongly discouraged. If you have a conflict of interest, you should avoid or exercise great caution when:

  1. editing or creating articles related to you, your organization, or its competitors, as well as projects and products they are involved with;
  2. participating in deletion discussions about articles related to your organization or its competitors; and
  3. linking to the Wikipedia article or website of your organization in other articles (see Wikipedia:Spam).

Please familiarize yourself with relevant policies and guidelines, especially those pertaining to neutral point of view, verifiability of information, and autobiographies.

For information on how to contribute to Wikipedia when you have a conflict of interest, please see our frequently asked questions for organizations. Thank you. Lord Spongefrog, (I am Czar of all Russias!) 20:08, 6 December 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Prog Rock

[edit]

I noticed that you happen to (possibly) be a person that knows a lot about progressive rock groups. I'd like to invite you to join Wikiproject Progressive Rock, as I'm sure your knowledge could be of great assistance in writing many articles. Fellow group members could also work with you on your own biography article to remove the conflict of interest mentioned above. Regards, ʄɭoʏɗiaɲ τ ¢ 06:28, 7 December 2009 (UTC)[reply]

[edit]
  1. Welcome to Wikipedia. Although everyone is welcome to contribute to the encyclopedia, one or more of the external links you added such as to the page Ed Unitsky do not comply with our guidelines for external links and have been removed. Wikipedia is not a collection of links; nor should it be used as a platform for advertising or promotion, and doing so is contrary to the goals of this project. Because Wikipedia uses nofollow tags, external links do not alter search engine rankings. If you feel the link should be added to the article, please discuss it on the article's talk page before reinserting it. Please take a look at the welcome page to learn more about contributing to this encyclopedia.
Your edit here was reverted by an automated bot that attempts to remove links which are discouraged per our external links guideline from Wikipedia. The external link you added or changed is on my list of links to remove and probably shouldn't be included in Wikipedia. I removed the following link(s): http://www.myspace.com/thebargainmusical, http://www.myspace.com/thebargainmusical (matching the regex rule \bmyspace\.com).
If you were trying to insert an external link that does comply with our policies and guidelines, then please accept my creator's apologies and feel free to undo the bot's revert. However, if the link does not comply with our policies and guidelines, but your edit included other, constructive, changes to the article, feel free to make those changes again without re-adding the link. Please read Wikipedia's external links guideline for more information, and consult my list of frequently-reverted sites. For more information about me, see my FAQ page. Thanks! --XLinkBot (talk) 21:01, 7 December 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Unblocked

[edit]

I have unblocked you as I probably should have warned you more thoroughly before blocking. However, you are not free to promote yourself making unsupported claims like "Many seem to believe his art is inspired from the Divine" or add any other material about yourself that isn't backed up by solid reliable sources. Further, engaging in edit warring is not acceptable. You need to discuss your differences on a talk page and reach consensus before reverting others' edits.

I strongly suggest you find another topic to edit besides yourself as you don't appear to be able to manage the conflict of interest. Toddst1 (talk) 23:39, 8 December 2009 (UTC)[reply]

AfD nomination of Ed Unitsky

[edit]

An editor has nominated one or more articles which you have created or worked on, for deletion. The nominated article is Ed Unitsky. We appreciate your contributions, but the nominator doesn't believe that the article satisfies Wikipedia's criteria for inclusion and has explained why in his/her nomination (see also Wikipedia:Notability and "What Wikipedia is not").

Your opinions on whether the article meets inclusion criteria and what should be done with the article are welcome; please participate in the discussion(s) by adding your comments to Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Ed Unitsky. Please be sure to sign your comments with four tildes (~~~~).

You may also edit the article during the discussion to improve it but should not remove the articles for deletion template from the top of the article; such removal will not end the deletion debate.

Please note: This is an automatic notification by a bot. I have nothing to do with this article or the deletion nomination, and can't do anything about it. --Erwin85Bot (talk) 01:12, 9 December 2009 (UTC)[reply]
