Information icon Hello, I'm Materialscientist. I wanted to let you know that one or more of your recent contributions to Marion Donovan have been undone because they did not appear constructive. If you would like to experiment, please use your sandbox. If you have any questions, you can ask for assistance at the Teahouse or the Help desk. Thanks. Hey. Are you in a class that requires you to edit Wikipedia? If so, please disclose any such or similar program.

On the matter of content and why I reverted your work, that's because it broke citations and changed details in a way that contradicted the inline citation. For the former, use the preview feature to check if you've accidentally broken anything (especially with big red warning messages) before hitting publish. And for the material, everything you add must be supported by references! You changed her birthplace to Fort Wayne, Indiana, but the inline source linked immediately after that sentence (in the little [1] currently labeled number 5 in the article) mentions that she was born in South Bend. I would have attempted to verify everything else you added, but those citations were broken and didn't link anywhere. Named citations need to be defined (see the source of this message for an example, starting with <ref name="smithsonian_archives">{{Cite web | [content follows within...]) before the citation can be reused in a different spot (like this: <ref name="smithsonian_archives"/> produces [1]) If you were trying to reuse existing citations, use the same name as the full citation that defines the named reference. See Help:Footnotes for more instructions.

See the standard welcome message below for the full menu of introduction and tutorial resources. – Anon423 (talk) 09:17, 8 December 2022 (UTC)[reply]
