April 2018

[edit]

Information icon Hello, I'm Sjö. Wikipedia is written by people who have a wide diversity of opinions, but we try hard to make sure articles have a neutral point of view. Your recent edit seemed less than neutral and has been removed. If you think this was a mistake, or if you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thank you. Skillet's band type

[edit]

Hey sir, I just wanted to change the type of band Skillet is because more people will want to listen if it does not say Christian. And on another plus, the may even get saved because of it. Eli Sellers (talk) 17:50, 13 April 2018 (UTC)[reply]

While a noble goal, that's not the point you're getting reverted. Wikipedia is not a tool for evangelism. We report on what the majority of sources state in a neutral way. Walter Görlitz (talk) 18:02, 13 April 2018 (UTC)[reply]
And one other point, when you change it (and Disciple's) using statements like "fix" it implies it's broken, when it clearly is not. That's simply a lie. Not a noble way to achieve an honourable goal. Walter Görlitz (talk) 18:04, 13 April 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Okay

[edit]

I guess i didnt think of it that way. But what i am saying is, john cooper himself says he leaves "Christian" out of it. Look it up if u dont believe me. That was my main reason. Eli Sellers (talk) 18:19, 13 April 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Disciple

[edit]

Yeah i messed up on disciple's. And when I said "fixed" (I actually thought I did) In Disciple's Bus Banter episodes on youtube, they nver really call themselves a Christian band, they all say "rock band".Sorry. You can ban me if you want, I dont want to ruin anything. Eli Sellers (talk) 18:21, 13 April 2018 (UTC)[reply]

You "messed up" on both (See Fixed band type on the Skillet article), but you don't get a block for messing up. I'm looking forward to great content from you. Walter Görlitz (talk) 19:14, 13 April 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Thank you!

Information icon Please do not remove content or templates from pages on Wikipedia, as you did to Red (band), without giving a valid reason for the removal in the edit summary. Your content removal does not appear to be constructive and has been reverted. If you only meant to make a test edit, please use the sandbox for that. Thank you.
