Banbury

[edit]

Hi ElmwoodFarmer2 - see Regions of England for a list of the official regions of England - you'll see that the South Midlands is not one of them. Thanks - MFlet1 (talk) 09:20, 30 December 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Good day and thank you for correcting me. ElmwoodFarmer2 (talk) 09:55, 30 December 2020 (UTC)[reply]

That’s why Banbury is only 3 miles from the West Midlands. Still it’s part of Oxon so yes 100% sir you are spot on! I salute you. ElmwoodFarmer2 (talk) 10:02, 30 December 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Plus ‘South Midlands’ is not an official area of England however geographically Banbury is at the bottom of the middle therefore it is indeed unofficially in the South Midland area. ElmwoodFarmer2 (talk) 10:05, 30 December 2020 (UTC)[reply]

I take your point, and in fact when I was growing up there I always thought of it as being in the Midlands, not least because we had Midlands ITV. But if you change the infobox region to South Midlands the region actually disappears - it only displays if you enter a valid region! MFlet1 (talk) 13:05, 30 December 2020 (UTC)[reply]
