Proposed deletion of Romy Gill

Hi guys, I'm new to Wikipedia in terms of page creation, and am coming up with so many issues when creating my first page! Would somebody please be able to help?

I resolved some of the earlier issues, but am struggling to come up with solutions to the others that are appearing...

Hi Emily, the biggest obstacle you have is that you need to establish a subject's notability. A common mistake that editors make (and not surprising given how everything is social media) is that Wikipedia is not social media. In order for article subject (people, books, bands, etc.) to be eligible for inclusion, editors have to establish that the subject is notable. The General Notability Guildeline tells us that article subjects are considered notable if they have received "significant coverage from reliable sources that are independent of the subject." So the trick is to find that significant coverage that talks about the importance of the subject. More specific criteria for notability can be found at WP:BIO. For example, if the subject of the article has won a major award, that might establish notability. Wikipedia expects multiple sources, and the more the merrier. Assuming you're talking about Romy Gill, I'd say that you should probably find more sources that talk about the subject. I've removed the orphan template, as there is one other article that points to Romy Gill. The other two issues mentioned at the top of the article are things I've repeated here. So go at it!
