[edit]Welcome to Wikipedia, and thank you for your contributions. Although everyone is welcome to contribute constructively to the encyclopedia, please note that there is a Manual of Style that should be followed to maintain a consistent, encyclopedic appearance. Deviating from this style, as you did in LGBT music, disturbs uniformity among articles and may cause readability or accessibility problems. Please take a look at the welcome page to learn more about contributing to this encyclopedia. Hi Epitcher2017! Thank you for being bold and making an edit to LGBT music. You changed the scope of the article/definition of LGBT music from a lead that previously said "music focusing on LGBT issues performed by LGBT artists and performers" with "lyrics largely about empowerment, same-sex relationships, love, acceptance, freedom, gay pride and the courage to 'come out'" and now says "music that focuses on LGBT issues." There can be a page on music containing LGBT themes, by LGBT and non-LGBT artists alike, but this article is not about that. It is also contains information that doesn't belong in the lead according to the Manual of Style for the lead section (MOS:LEAD). There's no point in reverting this edit but because it doesn't accurately summarize the article like the older lead does, I will edit the old lead back into the article. Most of the added information can be worked into the article in other places though! Woodsy lesfem (talk) 23:30, 11 May 2018 (UTC) Woodsy lesfem (talk) 23:30, 11 May 2018 (UTC)
