Progress on the Pokemon merger + Keepers[edit]

Hey! I've been away from Pokemon articles for a while, dealing mainly with Naruto's episode merge and Ben 10 stuffs (yes, I'm a nerd...), and, of course, school. Er, I've noticed that the merger hasn't been progressing very quickly.

So, Naruto's episodes have been undergoing a similar-scale merge, and that gave me an idea: Aside from the first article in the set, which had been drafted on my user subpage, the resulting articles were simply "skeletons" of their future selves - just a list of episodes without summaries or images - and are gradually being filled out by willing contributors. Would you consider that a good idea for the Pokemon articles as well? I could make a skeletal list of pokemon by twenties, and those would eventually get filled out.

I didn't want to put this on the PCP or List/Pidgey discussion pages where those opposed to the merger to begin with would turn this into another discussion about that and send it crashing off topic, so I brought it to your talk page. Sorry if this bothers you.

By the way, I think I have some keepers for you. Check out these revisions of The Very Hungry Caterpillar (pretty much every revision is a joke, so there are loads of other options in the article's history):

Who would have guessed that such an innocent article would be subject to such molestation? You Can't See Me! 07:23, 30 April 2007 (UTC)[reply]

The skeleton-to-be-fleshed-out approach was exactly my mindset behind making the incomplete List of Pokémon (21-40), so it'd be great if you continued that process for us at your own convenience. I'd rather focus on the evo-line pages themselves anyway, in between Pearl-playing sessions. (That game is seriously good... this is actually the first time I've ever been addicted to a Pokemon RPG. That's saying a lot.)
Those keepers of yours definitely qualify, though they take some close and in-depth reading in order to catch all the subtle humor and parody. I'll have to go through them and single out easy-to-read diffs when adding them to Keepers. But one thing really amusing about it all is that in between the valdalism, the George Bush detail there is reported by the article as fact. Hmm. Erik Jensen (Appreciate|Laugh At) 19:20, 30 April 2007 (UTC)[reply]
Aaaaaalrightythen! I'll commence soon. You Can't See Me! 07:25, 1 May 2007 (UTC)[reply]
Everytime I see your user name, I think of this guy from Fire Emblem. Don't ask me why... Erik Jensen (Appreciate|Laugh At) 06:12, 6 May 2007 (UTC)[reply]
As you've probably noticed by now, I haven't actually gotten around to making the skeletal lists... Sorry about that; my sights were set on other projects/merges in my popular topic zones listed above. Since several of the evo merges have been blanked repeatedly (and Magnemite's was even temporarily up for an AFD), it'd probably be best not to leave incremental-improvement articles lying around, lest they be targets for article infanticide. Your thoughts?
By the way, Hawks are my favorite among the Laguz races. Coincidence? You Can't See Me! 02:19, 20 May 2007 (UTC)[reply]
No worries about that; this is only the Internet, and if there's a will to have merged pages by about a dozen collaborating users, then those pages would likely never go away. Even though there's a lot of users supporting the merger, it seems right now you and Zapper are among the only ones active on the effort, and I've been doing nothing but (truthfully) justifying the merger for months now. But page blanking is easily reversible moot; even if an Admin were to delete any of that, another admin could Undelete it right back. I don't suppose it really matters if you only focus on merged evo-line pages for now, but the Evo-Line lists will need to be more professional-looking and made sometime.

I shudder to think what kind of powerhouse Caineghis would be in Lion battle mode... Erik Jensen (Appreciate|Laugh At) 17:04, 20 May 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Coming Up[edit]

Right before the "Coming Up" section on the SSBB talk page was deleted you asked if he was the one I was reffering to in my point, to be specific, he's a good example of the kind of person I was talking about, but I didn't write it with any specific person in mind. BassxForte 05:53, 6 May 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Yeah, I figured. And I suppose all that's in the past now. Erik Jensen (Appreciate|Laugh At) 05:55, 6 May 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Merging Pokemon Articles[edit]

Is the discussion over? If not, where is it going on? Vikrant Phadkay 14:20, 7 May 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Well, I know Zapper's attempting to centralize all the discussions at Wikipedia_talk:WikiProject_Pokémon/Layout, rather than at the WP:PCP, though it still seems everyone else is interested in having several discussion forks about it here and here. Ideally it'd be at Layout where all questions, comments, concerns, and objections should be posted. Thanks, Erik Jensen (Appreciate|Laugh At) 19:04, 7 May 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Poof![edit]

Hehehe! Quite by chance I stumbled across your fun page and saw the tribute you paid to my vicious insults towards that selfish, geeky bastard HighwayCello! I also applaud the dearly departed AMIB for christening me "Skeletor" as it suits my modus operandi here on Wiki pretty well. You brought a great deal of nostalgia and a tear to my eye when I read your story about me, so for that I spare you. If you ever make some fine edits to any article and some good-for-nothing punk reverts the work, let me know, for I hate selfishness and injustice on Wikipedia and will come to the aid of beleaguered Wikipedians with worthwhile good-faith edits. My original edits to Charizard were always in good faith, and my others, like for Tauros, were just for fun, I admit. I must say though I don't like many of the new Pokemon designs. They look either too silly or simple like some Japanese pharmaceutical mascot, or too sharp and mechanical like Dialga the mecha-horse or that thing which was the result of an unholy love-making session between a T-Rex and a Hammerhead shark... 65.197.241.225 17:42, 19 May 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Uh, no problem I guess. I can assure you I would only write a funny story like that when the said victims considered it something to joke about themselves, cuz I don't wanna antagonize anyone. I will be frank when I say that some of your vandalisms were quite hilarious, including your Kanto Fried Combusken bit, and your ALLCAPS rant on Charizard's page about how Wikipedians are degenerate scum: last Christmas I recited it by heart at the dinner party at my house, and people loved it. No joke, sir.
If you don't mind me joking more about you: As the skeleton king of Evil, you seem to have this magically cursed aura about you that causes people you interact with to want to leave their professions. Look what happened to Black and Highway: They up and left. Now what we should have you do is write a letter to President Bush; his subsequent departure from office will make the world a better place. That would be an ironic achievement by you, no? ^_^
Anyway, I understand that before you and the tag team of A HighwayCello In Black crossed each other, you did make good faith contribs, and now that they're no longer around, you might want to only focus on making good useful contributions from here on out, if you don't want another one-month block from some other policeman admin. And thanks for the edit aid offer, but I'm not sure if I have made any recent edits that were reverted, so it probably wouldn't be necessary. And what's wrong with the new Pokemon designs? Gliscor is my new favorite Pokemon! Arceus have mercy on yer twisted black Skeletal soul for that. :) Erik Jensen (Appreciate|Laugh At) 01:25, 20 May 2007 (UTC)[reply]
You may have also missed my edit a few months back about Ashley Tisdale and her gorgeous lion-like blonde mane; not to mention Torchic eggs being a popular ingredient for the Philippine delicacy balut (of Fear Factor fame); and one of me faves, the undisputable fact that old Miltank no longer able to produce sufficient quantities of milk are brutally slaughtered and ground into grade-F hamburger meat. Anyway I'll be going for now, and will do occassional edits every now and then when I'm in the mood... If you've noticed SaturnYoshi hasn't been around in a while too, and he DOES freely admit in one of his userboxes that he is gay. I think it also said somewhere on Highway's page that he is from England, hence the "British" tool in my insult... heehee! 65.197.241.225 01:46, 20 May 2007 (UTC)[reply]
I thought Highway was Scottish... I'm not too sure if any of those Poke-edits would qualify as Keepers, for anyone could say something like "Stuffed Snover makes for a great bedtime pillow in the summertime", or "Bronzong has been mistaken for a real bell, and when a kid struck one with a hammer he was Extrasensory'd out of existence." And the IP edit that took place right after yours on Ashley Tisdale, talking about her blood-sucking vampirism, was probably funnier vandalism. Well anyway, good huntin'. Erik Jensen (Appreciate|Laugh At) 17:18, 20 May 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Hmm, come to think off it, I agree. Those edits were a bit lame and unoriginal. I guess I was just trying to show the gritty, repulsive dark side of the happy-happy Pokemon world you see in the TV show. Another thing I don't understand is that many Pokemon seem to be just as, if not more intelligent than the average human and yet they are not accorded the same rights and freedoms. Tsk, tsk. Mewtwo should run for President or something. Anyway to avoid another block I'll try to limit myself to only one or two funny edits a month, and ONLY when I can think of something I feel is truly funny or ingenious. It's nice to know I have some fans here... Catch ya on the flip side. (P.S. If you check the old discussion pages for Charizard you'll see that Highway was in conflict with a number of users over his excessive, unwarranted reverts. One of them could be me!)

Indeed. Indeed. Erik Jensen (Appreciate|Laugh At) 17:26, 21 May 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Layout merger[edit]

just to let you know, i've resubmitted the merger to RFC and also made a note on the village pump, so hopefully we'll get more outsider opinion than we did at the first list article. i also added all the links i knew of to WP:PCP/Layout for reference. btw i miss PCP, it was easier to type while holding down the shift key.... :( -ΖαππερΝαππερ BabelAlexandria 18:26, 21 May 2007 (UTC)[reply]

I knew that, I look at people's contribs regularly. But thanks anyway. :) Erik Jensen (Appreciate|Laugh At) 18:28, 21 May 2007 (UTC)[reply]
BTW, does this look like a good link to add? Erik Jensen (Appreciate|Laugh At) 18:29, 21 May 2007 (UTC)[reply]
i did consider adding links to the pokemon test and the pokeproposal onto the front page. they're relevant, but don't really "clarify" anything (if anything they may confuse the person as they tend to argue against a merge) - go ahead if you'd like. "I look at people's contribs regularly" - well then i hope you're making good use of my contrib link i posted on my user page to facilitate that for people :) ... and the irony i'm sure hasn't been lost on you as to vikrant's latest claims against me :D -ΖαππερΝαππερ BabelAlexandria 11:28, 22 May 2007 (UTC)[reply]
I just made a big new proposal on how to merge the species that don't have any evolutionary relatives, you can see and comment on it here. I'm thinking the two List of Pokemon pages have become a thorn in our sides. Erik Jensen (Appreciate|Laugh At) 21:14, 22 May 2007 (UTC)[reply]

i've made some responses, i'd also like you to take a look at User:Zappernapper/Eevee evolutionary line. Quite honestly, i'm getting sick of this, people got impatient and bulldozed ahead creating a trainwreck of AFDs and deletionist sentiments are getting mixed into this whole thing. i'm almost sorry i supported this as i've been feeling it become a whole new beast. -ΖαππερΝαππερ BabelAlexandria 22:34, 3 June 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Well, just remember that this consistently controversial issue would have been brought up and advocated by someone else later on if users like us hadn't tried now. It's tough, yes, but I think your Eeveelutionary draft would be a definite help. I myself much prefer this section-by-section style of merge page structuring over the way YCSM was making the pages. Erik Jensen (Appreciate|Laugh At) 01:18, 4 June 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Is USB charging for DS Lite safe?[edit]

Good sir, I was hoping I could ask you a quick question as no one else I know owns one of these things. By any chance do you own a USB charging cable for the DSL? I was thinking about getting one for its convenience, but I fear I might zap my DS or something - even though the standard USB voltage is 5V, similar to the DS adapter's output. Also I recently finished Pokemon Pearl myself, and now I'm indulging in Chocobo Tales - It's really quite fun, you must give it a shot. Thanks! Nintenboy01 19:05, 27 May 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Uh, let's see... Mine says Input: AC100V, 50/60Hz 8VA, Output: DC5.2V, 450mA above, and Input: AC120V, 60Hz 4W, Output: DC5.2V, 450mA below. Whatever all that means, it works perfectly fine with my DS Lite. Does that help? Erik Jensen (Appreciate|Laugh At) 19:10, 27 May 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Ah, so you do have a USB cable charger thingy and it works fine? That's great. I hate the standard AC adapter since it's limited to 100-120V, limiting its usefulness when travelling. Thanks for the tip! Also I saw a rare copy of Fire Emblem: The Sacred Stones recently in the shop and plan to get it, but do you have it and like it? (I have the 2003 FE for GBA too and POR and love them). Anyhoo, thanks again.

Sacred Stones was great while it lasted, but I don't think it's thematically memorable like the previous game. Erik Jensen (Appreciate|Laugh At) 19:37, 27 May 2007 (UTC)[reply]

By the way, about the new Wii Fire Emblem... I've been trying to find pics of the new Wolf laguz in their transformed states, but have had no luck so far. I'll keep digging though. Thanks again. Nintenboy01 20:09, 27 May 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Image tagging for Image:Mordecai.jpg[edit]

Thanks for uploading Image:Mordecai.jpg. The image has been identified as not specifying the source and creator of the image, which is required by Wikipedia's policy on images. If you don't indicate the source and creator of the image on the image's description page, it may be deleted some time in the next seven days. If you have uploaded other images, please verify that you have provided source information for them as well.

For more information on using images, see the following pages:

This is an automated notice by OrphanBot. For assistance on the image use policy, see Wikipedia:Media copyright questions. 12:09, 1 June 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Er, I thought it does specify that on the image page...? The image was already there before I decided to replace it with a cropped version. Anyway, if any other users or bots think it doesn't belong, it doesn't matter to me. Erik Jensen (Appreciate|Laugh At) 17:34, 1 June 2007 (UTC)[reply]
Er, what the hell? That's about as official and as legitimate as a source as you can get. What is up with OrphanBot? Oh, by the way, I came to inform you that our secret agent is back. hbdragon88 06:16, 2 June 2007 (UTC)[reply]
Eh, I was aware Black had a burst of editing last night, but it doesn't quite feel right to declare him having officially returned to Wikipedia based on just that; his editing was probably just spur-of-the-moment (I would expect he'd have changed his userpage if he considered his return official). He can decide for himself whether he wants to return full-time or if he'd rather be more of a once-in-a-while editor. That said, if he's been monitoring the complex merger debates on WP:POKE, he's more than welcome to provide comments he feels are helpful to the debates. Erik Jensen (Appreciate|Laugh At) 17:28, 2 June 2007 (UTC)[reply]
I think now we can ascertain that the ultimate cruft fighter is back. You don't have to necessarily change the userpage; it's been exactly two months since I first left (returning a week later), and I still haven't restored my userpage, but I'm still here and editing. hbdragon88 23:21, 3 June 2007 (UTC)[reply]
Aha, well that's nice. More power to him to remove malignant content from the site. Anyway, as for the image above, it must have been a momentary glitch of the OrphanBot because I did similar croppings to about 15 other images in that time frame, and I didn't get image tagging messages for those. What the images do need are Fair Use rationales beginning with "I, Erik Jensen (Appreciate|Laugh At), believe this image should be fair use because..." Erik Jensen (Appreciate|Laugh At) 01:18, 4 June 2007 (UTC)[reply]

I like you man, I like you a lot.[edit]

You're so cool man. I like your examples on the WikiProject, and I'm sure you do more of a great job besides pokémon articles. I just wanted to tell you that you are doing hell of a job. Keep it up TheBlazikenMaster 12:28, 5 June 2007 (UTC)[reply]

P.s. I know this is off-topic, but I'm just curious, what's your YouTube account's name?

That's real flattering, I'm blushing. :D If you've only been seeing my stuff on Wikipedia, you ain't seen nothing yet: On the Smash Bros. Wiki, I had completely written every article connected to this "Universe" template. Hopefully your opinion won't change when you learn I don't have a YouTube account, however. Erik Jensen (Appreciate|Laugh At) 16:45, 5 June 2007 (UTC)[reply]

RE:Should merge pages be restructured?[edit]

Hey! Sorry for responding so late. I took a Wikibreak to enjoy something I should have gotten a long time ago now that school is at an end. I'll be getting more Wikactive soon.

Anyways, that wasn't the first time somebody expressed preference towards that model over my own. I can definitely see how that would work better with larger groups of monsters, and maybe even pairs that are connected by similarity rather than evolution. I guess it's worth a try, though the TCG section doesn't really seem to have a purpose. Perhaps if something notable happened with that card (Sneasel, for instance), but I don't think mentioning every apperance is necessary. I'll work up a draft for Porygon again once Zant (or Ganondorf, depending on who the final boss really is...) falls. 'Till then! You Can't See Me! 22:00, 7 June 2007 (UTC)[reply]

The irony: Currently I have two Wii games (Twilight Princess and WarioWare)... and no Wii. We've been pretty much waiting for a new shipment for a month. Erik Jensen (Appreciate|Laugh At) 04:47, 8 June 2007 (UTC)[reply]
I hope you don't mind me chiming in here fellas, but I feel for you: I accidentally got Super Paper Mario and Excite Truck as a gift but have no Wii yet (supposed to have gotten one back in December but decided to pick up a DS Lite to replace my beat-up Phat instead since I couldn't find a Wii ANYWHERE.) Luckily I'm still busy raising the Ultimate Team in Pokemon Pearl, with Effort Values being very carefully distributed to the appropriate stats... Nintenboy01 22:04, 9 June 2007 (UTC)[reply]
Nice to say you feel for me, but I actually don't mind not having a Wii yet, because SSBB hasn't come out yet. That game will warp the very fabric of REALITY!!! Until then, I think DS Lite is an excellently designed and supported system, better than not just PSP but perhaps most consoles as well. It's got both the usability (with its backlight and chargeable internal battery and all that) and the games (too many strong ones to list here). Erik Jensen (Appreciate|Laugh At) 17:11, 10 June 2007 (UTC)[reply]
I agree, SSBB will be the ultimate killer-app for Wii, plus it supports 4 possible control styles. I do wonder if it will still have collectible trophies though. And I'm willing to bet we might really see Sonic, at least one Final Fantasy character (Cloud maybe?) and maybe even Pac-Man or Reiko Nagase. If Snake can make it in then I think just about any 3rd-party character can join the cast. I think other really good characters to put in would be Ridley from Metroid, Ike from PoR, and maybe Charizard (he could be a clone of Ridley, like Ganon was a clone of Capt. Falcon.) Excuse my rant! Nintenboy01 19:09, 10 June 2007 (UTC)[reply]
Er, that doesn't look like a rant to me. A rant in my eyes is a session of impassioned rambling by somebody against something in particular, attack-based rambling that seems purposefully inflammatory, and such stuff I personally dislike to see anywhere on the internet. (Did that sound like a rant in itself...? :/) Your comment is just gentle forum-style opinions, no need to worry about being excused for it on here. :) And if Smash games consider pretty much every Nintendo franchise fair game for inclusion, then I would expect my beloved Golden Sun to be not just featured in the game, but prominent. Erik Jensen (Appreciate|Laugh At) 19:21, 10 June 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Does Nintendo own the full rights to Golden Sun, or does Camelot? Hopefully the former. Also I initially thought "rant" meant any long-winded discussion whether positive or not, so thanks for setting me straight. Anyway I just hope Smash makes it out soon, hopefully by October. Ideally Nintendo should release it before or around the same time Halo 3 comes out - mark my words, it will be a battle of epic proportions...

Well, GS seems to be as likely to make it in there because Intelligent System's Fire Emblem series made it in there before, and both I.S. and Camelot are second party developers for Nintendo... But whatever content in the game is up to Dojo to reveal. And there can be positive rants too, as well as rants that make one lol like all that Skeletor business above. Anyway, yes I do look forward to the battle. Erik Jensen (Appreciate|Laugh At) 20:05, 10 June 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Actually, Intelligent Systems is a wholly-owned internal department of Nintendo's (they were formerly known as Nintendo R&D 1.) Camelot has a close relationship with the Big N, but are still a distinct entity (they even used to be part-owned by Sega.) Hehe, obviously I wouldn't live up to my "Nintenboy" moniker if I wasn't an uber-Nintendo geek eh? Nintenboy01 20:42, 10 June 2007 (UTC)[reply]

I'm fairly sure that Camelot is a "Nintendoan" second party. If I recall correctly, Camelot broke off all ties with Sega after its director got pissed over getting stuck with extra work for the Shining Force series. Whatever the case, I can recall seing in the credits of either GS or GSII the phrase "All characters and scenarios are property of Nintendo," or something to that effect, so there is hope for Isaac or Felix (though I doubt anyone else...) in SSBB. Heh. I'd particularly look forward to remixed and reorchestrated Golden Sun themes, especially the main theme, Saturos/Star Magician's theme, and either of the two endgame dragon themes.
Golden Sun and Custom Robo (Rahu III as a playable fighter baby!) are the two series that I'd like to see represented with newcomers. I'd also like to see Trainer Red as a playable fighter, too! Er, but I think I'm straying off topic now... You Can't See Me! 06:30, 14 June 2007 (UTC)[reply]
Hooray for Golden Sun's copyright status, then, but I thought Custom Robo was Japanese only, having very little influence in the States. Erik Jensen (Appreciate|Laugh At) 17:06, 14 June 2007 (UTC)[reply]
BTW, have you done your Porygon draft yet? We'll be needing it soon. ;)~ Erik Jensen (Appreciate|Laugh At) 17:50, 14 June 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Pokemon as food[edit]

Hmm, you know, old Skeletor may have been right about Kanto Fried Combusken after all. Some of the dialogue and books in Pokemon D/P specifically mention that at least some Pokemon are hunted down (or maybe raised on a farm) and eaten by humans. I'd love to see this in the anime. You know those stalls in the middle east where you see roasted goat or lamb carcasses hanging from hooks? Imagine Pikachu on a spit or a Psyduck's head being chopped off right in front of you at a Chinese restaurant. The humanity! I did notice that the game developers seem to be getting more philosophical and realistic in D/P. Just look at the brooding boss of Team Galactic... Nintenboy01 23:09, 10 June 2007 (UTC) P.S. My ultimate Charizard has practically no weaknesses. He knows Sunny Day, Earthquake, Flamethrower and SOLARBEAM!!![reply]

Yes, so it seems... If the Poke-slaughter-for-food concept is real, I doubt it'd make it into the anime in a graphic fashion anyway. And I'd rather not see Pikachu sitting on a bunch of spit, however. (If that's what you meant.)
Now, not that I mind these discussions personally, but a lot of other users wouldn't appreciate having talk-page discussions like this that don't appear to focus on bettering articles on Wikipedia in general, and I know that there are users who patrol talk pages on the lookout for forum discussions so that they can warn the users involved that this is Wikipedia. You should be careful not to veer too much into starting what sounds like forum discussions with other users, because traveling admins might leave you a message about it. Just a gentle thought, don't worry about it. Erik Jensen (Appreciate|Laugh At) 17:13, 11 June 2007 (UTC)[reply]

My apologies, I know I can be pretty pesky at times. However I do want to put in more info about the new Wolf Laguz in the Fire Emblem Wii article(s), and have been trying to find Wiki-usable pics for a few weeks. If you ever stumble across any please lemme know! Thanks. By the way, it also looks like poor Skeletor has been given a 3-month block this time. He probably shouldn't have picked on Manny Pacquiao's article, among others... Nintenboy01 17:25, 11 June 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Alas, poor Skelly! I knew him, Nintenboy; a fellow of questionable jest, of most excellently entertaining angst, brightening even A Man In Black's day with his grand philosophical treatise and confrontational discourse. Now it'll be another three months before he is next exhumed. ...XD
Can't really help out with articles on subjects I currently know nothing about , sorry. The Fire Emblem is something I try not to spoil for myself. Erik Jensen (Appreciate|Laugh At) 04:21, 12 June 2007 (UTC)[reply]
Thanks anyway. I am excited though, since the article here on Wiki says that you can use your Path of Radiance save to continue in the new Wii FE game. I wish they had just released it on the Cube though... Oh and another thing, try checking out User: Anubiz and his bizarre split-personality issues (he created a sockpuppet account, w/c eventually got blocked, called blue sapphire princess or something and insulted himself on his Anubiz talk page to see if people would come to his defense. He has other sockpuppets I believe, and apparently he use Dragon speech software for typing: he says on his user page that he suffers from a spelling disorder and an inferiority complex... Poor chap. It could be good for the Laugh page, if he doesn't mind. Nintenboy01 17:15, 12 June 2007 (UTC)[reply]
Keepers is mainly meant for unintentionally funny vandalism and other occurences that I find and find amusing, with one aim of the humor page being that it is not derogatory towards specific users that might be acting in good faith. His case doesn't seem appropriate to include. :/ Erik Jensen (Appreciate|Laugh At) 18:14, 12 June 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Actually his case is really quite amusing... He viciously insults himself on his own user page thru his sockpuppet, then people gang up on the sockpuppet, w/c later gets blocked, and eventually he admits to an Admin that he and his sockpuppet (who he says is a lipstick lesbian character he created, mind you)are one and the same. Myabe if Anubiz himself starts to stir up more controversy and gets indefinitely blocked himself, it'll be safe to post it on Keepers. Deep down he seems like a nice guy but I think he really needs psychiatric advice. Nintenboy01 18:41, 12 June 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Aha... Well, I'll just keep to myself and see what happens. Controversial cases are another thing I generally try to avoid with my humor page. Erik Jensen (Appreciate|Laugh At) 18:46, 12 June 2007 (UTC)[reply]

I understand. But if you ever wanna peek at this weirdness, check out User: Bluefire princess under the Snorlax page's history. Sometimes Anubiz even talks to himself under his original user name, forgetting to log in under his evil puppet. This is just plain bizarre, but certainly not at the same level of controversy as the infamous Essjay case... Nintenboy01 19:27, 12 June 2007 (UTC)[reply]

A Better Pic[edit]

Hehe, I only noticed yesterday that AMIB is back in force again. I wonder also if Highway might crawl out of his grave if he knew that Skellington has been banned till September. Anyway I've been checking around with AMIB and a couple users to see if anyone might have the Skillz to put up a better image for the GameCube page, without the (IMO) hideous 3rd-party memory card and messy cable. Also it looks like Anubiz himself has been blocked for a while, including his known sockpuppets... Thanks also for once again taking the time to read one of my incessant posts. Nintenboy01 03:16, 14 June 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Anybody can have the skillz to upload images, give rationales, and post them into articles; the difficult part is finding and choosing the right image from the GameCube images out there that satisfies Wikipedia's fair-use requirements the most. If I knew for sure the existence of a GameCube image that is equal to or better than the current one in terms of satisfying the fair-use criteria, I'd upload it, but right now I'm interested in seeing Agent Jay's answer (that's my new nickname for Black). Erik Jensen (Appreciate|Laugh At) 17:06, 14 June 2007 (UTC)[reply]
Some kind soul has already agreed to take a better GameCube pic. Hopefully it will turn out better than the old one and look close to Nintendo's own ad images. Right now though, I can't decide if I should teach my Palkia Flamethrower or Brick Break to help cover some of its weaknesses... Nintenboy01 00:53, 17 June 2007 (UTC)[reply]

A Shirt for AMIB[edit]

Heehee, just a minor item of interest; this shirt would be ideal for AMIB in relation to Skelly's insult: www.cafepress.com/buy/wretched/-/pv_design_prod/p_927582.55782407/pNo_55782407/id_7341033/?click=true&CMP=KNC-F-ALL (It also seems that AMIB may have took his user name from the Stephen King character Randall Flagg, based on one of his old archives.) Nintenboy01 02:40, 19 June 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Lovely. Really lovely.
By the way, if Wiis aren't back out yet, do you know when's the next time they'll be in stores? Erik Jensen (Appreciate|Laugh At) 05:07, 19 June 2007 (UTC)[reply]
I've almost given up all hope of finding a new Wii in the shop. I'm hoping one of those shallow "casual gamer" types Nintendo is so keen on nowadays gets bored with their Wii soon and throws it out the window for me to grab! Nintenboy01 17:09, 19 June 2007 (UTC)[reply]
Ah, well, perhaps you can notify me when it does come out in the future, and we can both be happy. :D Erik Jensen (Appreciate|Laugh At) 17:11, 19 June 2007 (UTC)[reply]
To be completely honest, though I do want a Wii ASAP, the DS and my trusty GCN and PS2 have still been keeping me pretty busy. I'm kinda holding out until a black Wii or Smash Bros. Brawl comes out - whichever comes first. But I'll let ya know if I find a good source of consoles. I think the Wii article here should really make better mention of the severe shortages. It's been over 6 months! Nintenboy01 17:27, 19 June 2007 (UTC)[reply]

I thought AMIB's archives explicitly made clear that he hadn't read King's novels. hbdragon88 06:26, 28 June 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Nintendo in a Litigious World[edit]

Gah! I can't believe it! Some other tiny company has crawled out of the woodwork and is suing Nintendo for alleged patent infringements regarding the Wii again. This is getting pretty silly, the Wii's success has attracted so many greedy, shady little operations that want a piece of Nintendo's pie. I updated the Wii article myself with this new development. Eventually all these crazy lawsuits may be funny enough to add to Keepers! (That is, if Nintendo wins them all hands-down.) Nintenboy01 01:20, 20 June 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Keepers is all about what users put into articles or say to each other, not what goes on in the real world, so the lawsuits probably wouldn't go in there regardless of humor value. If it's a tiny company trying to go up against the Nintendo, I'm pretty certain Nintendo has nothing major to worry about, though. Erik Jensen (Appreciate|Laugh At) 16:16, 20 June 2007 (UTC)[reply]

New Vandal[edit]

Today I stumbled across some recently-reverted vandalism for the Tauros and Wailord articles (there could be more but I dunno for sure.) Looks like Tauros earned a new move, and Wailord is a stud. Could it be Skelly with a new IP? Hmm... Nintenboy01 17:41, 23 June 2007 (UTC)[reply]

You should be sure that you don't use my normal talk page for reporting stuff like this. Funny vandalism should be submitted to the talk page of my Keepers subpage, while the normal talk page really should be used for important work-related topics. Thanks. Erik Jensen (Appreciate|Laugh At) 19:00, 23 June 2007 (UTC)[reply]

My bad. Please forgive me, I'll be more careful next time. Nintenboy01 20:34, 23 June 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Fair use rationale for Image:Ashnard.jpg[edit]

Thanks for uploading or contributing to Image:Ashnard.jpg. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in Wikipedia articles constitutes fair use. In addition to the boilerplate fair use template, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use. Suggestions on how to do so can be found here.

Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to insure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.

If you have uploaded other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on those pages too. You can find a list of 'image' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "Image" from the dropdown box. Note that any fair use images uploaded after 4 May, 2006, and lacking such an explanation will be deleted one week after they have been uploaded, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. ShakespeareFan00 09:03, 25 June 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Ah, you see folks, unlike Mordecai above, this is about a missing FUR, which is true. I'll have to get around to doing that for the Fire Emblem guys sometime. Erik Jensen (Appreciate|Laugh At)

SSBB Update[edit]

My goodness, Zelda really looks great in Brawl! Wonder if she can still become Sheik though... Masahiro sure is tight-lipped. Nintenboy01 01:09, 26 June 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Notice how her brown hair and purplish dress match the color scheme of her appearance in A Link to the Past (the game, not the user). That to me is indication that the color change wasn't made for the sake of being different, there is apparently a big sense of homage logic there. Erik Jensen (Appreciate|Laugh At) 05:15, 26 June 2007 (UTC)[reply]

I think she looks pretty similar to her Twilight Princess incarnation, but yes, her hair color is more brown than blonde now. I'm willing to bet Masahiro reveals Donkey Kong or Capt. Falcon as the next character. Hopefully I can be the first Wikipedian to add that info to the SSBB article once it's available, hehe. Nintenboy01 16:48, 26 June 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Ugh, I can't believe Smash is coming out in December! I was expecting it to go toe-to-toe with Halo 3, but oh well. Better late than unpolished. I was pretty shocked about Dr. Wright being in there even if he's just an assist trophy though, and Donkey Kong sure looks fuzzier now. If they reveal Sonic as the next playable character, I'd like to try to be the first Wikieditor to put him in the article, hehehe. Nintenboy01 20:10, 13 July 2007 (UTC)[reply]
Ah, sounds like you'd be right at home editing where I edit at SmashWiki. Recently I've been focusing most of my editing attention to that site, writing all sorts of "universe" and character articles, and a couple days ago I wrote the whole article on Dr. Wright for the world to see. You could learn a lot from what my fingers produce upon a keyboard over at the wiki based on Super Smash Bros. games. Erik Jensen (Appreciate|Laugh At) 07:10, 14 July 2007 (UTC)[reply]
Actually, I have indeed taken a liking to the smaller wikis. Since the Poke-articles here on Wiki are now extremely generalized and lacking any detailed or specific info, I've been regularly consulting and contributing to Bulbapedia, since at least it shows all the base stats, moves, etc. Thanks to Bulbapedia and Serebii I bred an extremely good Salamence with High IVs in Speed and Special Attack. I think I'll try registering for Smashwiki too... Thanks. Nintenboy01 17:14, 16 July 2007 (UTC)[reply]
There seems to be something wrong with that site's hardware right now. Can't do anything without getting a server error message. :/ Erik Jensen (Appreciate|Laugh At) 17:17, 16 July 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Major games aspects[edit]

That kind of information needs to be really important to the games to matter (like a legendary's role). Stuff like when it first appears can be covered in the opening of the list. Other things like locations, trainers that use them, and evolution levels are just pieces of trivial game guide information at best. The only real things you should note are special evolutions (stones, forks, trading), and other things like fossils. Then the "how to" information is the worst kind as it is complete OR and junk. TTN 21:00, 14 July 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Hmm, alright. Thanks for that. Erik Jensen (Appreciate|Laugh At) 06:06, 15 July 2007 (UTC)[reply]

The Incredible Shrinking Charizard[edit]

Yaa! What happened to Charizard's article? It's but a teensy shadow of its former self. Now I think Bulbapedia is DEFINITELY the best Wiki for Pokeinfo. Still it's probably a good idea to streamline all the articles on Wikipedia anyway. If HighwayCello was still around I wonder what he would think... Nintenboy01 23:00, 16 July 2007 (UTC)[reply]

That seems to be about as controversial a redirect as one can come up with... Erik Jensen (Appreciate|Laugh At) 06:32, 17 July 2007 (UTC)[reply]

I'm afraid I didn't quite get it... Which part would be the controversial redirect? Linking to Highway? Nintenboy01 17:08, 17 July 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Well, a lot of fans figure that Charizard is a head above almost all other species in notability and real-world content, so if it gets rendered into that short a section, I'm sure there'll be a lot of controversy from irate fans indeed. Erik Jensen (Appreciate|Laugh At) 17:11, 17 July 2007 (UTC)[reply]
You bet. I myself made a number of contributions to that article last year. But since I'm a very passive fellow, I don't really wanna start fights with anyone over the article's content. I'm just gonna wait and see what happens. I think it's actually more entertaining to watch people bicker senselessly than to get involved yourself. Nintenboy01 17:46, 17 July 2007 (UTC)[reply]
You just recited one of my primary outlooks on life. Erik Jensen (Appreciate|Laugh At) 04:12, 18 July 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Yay, Charizard's article returned to its former glory! See, we were right. The wait-and-see approach DOES work. At least in this case. Nintenboy01 18:12, 26 July 2007 (UTC)[reply]

you know....[edit]

i'm done. at least you were willing to seek consensus and had the spirit of a comprehensive encyclopedia in mind. i'm sick of people using essays like WP:CRUFT in their AFD arguements, and confusing description with instruction. hell, WP:N only recently became a guideline, prolly b/c people kept treating it like it was something more. and not a single person has been keeping the discussion where it should be. if you all want to cut each article down to a couple lines, then fine. I no longer have the energy or time to deal with arguing with people who come into the project and after a few weeks decide themselves that they'll completely overhaul everything. Now even the mechanic-related pages are about to be AFD'd. I and others have kept them alive multiple times, but the recent spirit in XFD debates has been that enough people can call something cruft and that's all that's need for a closing admin to delete something. i'm spending my time on other topics, ones that don't have this strange immediate bias against them. of course... with my luck even Sand Mountain Blue Butterfly will one day be AFD'd. -PokeZap (Zappernapper) 20:01, 18 July 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Yeah, sorry all the crap's gotten to you. While the merge plan of merely 25 list pages covering 20 Pokemon each was originally my idea a long ways back, in everyone else's execution the pages have much more coverage cut out than what I think is necessary. I originally envisioned pages looking like this, but I was really surprised when a lot of my game and anime info was deleted as fluff. So my current tactic in this situation is to wait along the sidelines and see how it turns out, not bothering with the Pokemon pages while everyone else is working on them. In the meantime, I think it is best for you to focus on other subjects like you said. Erik Jensen (Appreciate|Laugh At) 06:30, 19 July 2007 (UTC)[reply]

WP:POKE is doing some housecleaning[edit]

This notice is to inform you that because many people have added their names to Wikipedia:WikiProject Pokémon#Participants but do not seem to be active, all names are being deleted in an effort to find out who is still truly interested in the project. All you have to do is re-add your name if you'd still like to be considered a member of WP:POKE. Any questions, you can contact me on my talk page. -ΖαππερΝαππερ BabelAlexandria 17:39, 22 July 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Nintendo's Massive Success[edit]

Nyahaha, you simply must check out Pikapal's blog on IGN, Erik( at http://blogs.ign.com/PikaPal13X/ ). It gives great insight into Nintendo's current market position, and has hilarious GIFs of the Nintendo bosses. I've even used the info there to further elaborate some articles on Wiki. Nintenboy01 00:35, 27 July 2007 (UTC)[reply]

The GIFs will do, but unfortunately not for inclusion in the professional-sounding articles about those blokes, unlike the marketing information that will do for the other Nintendo articles. And see [here] for what I think is the wittiest interpretation of Nintendo's Wii on the Internet today (the system I still don't have, BTW). About the Video[edit]

Aw shucks, I would have gladly described the video for you. But as you saw it didn't really feature THAT much eh? Just a loving handshake between Mario and the Kirbster, and then the robo-dude materializing out of goo. I'm quaking for the next update... Nintenboy01 18:58, 3 August 2007 (UTC)[reply]

your vandalism keepers[edit]

thanks for putting those up. i haven't laughed that hard in a while. it figures that Anubiz is in the Smash Bros section. *sigh* FyreNWater 11:30, 7 August 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Hi Erik, are you there? Something appears to be wrong with the Keepers talk page, all the headers are gone. Nintenboy01 17:35, 7 August 2007 (UTC)[reply]

No worries, it seems ok now. I guess Wikipedia's servers were just acting up. By the way, happy birthday! Nintenboy01 20:33, 7 August 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Red in Brawl[edit]

That Pokemon Trainer character sure is unique! And I've never seen Charizard, Ivysaur and Squirtle look so realistic before. I added a little mention of them in the main Brawl article here, but with any luck the Dark Overlords of that article will take it out right away. And SmashWiki's server keeps going down! If I had a little extra money I'd love to make a donation to help them out. Nintenboy01 22:06, 13 August 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Oh, the server was down again? I wasn't around for it... There pretty much isn't any point for you and me to edit Wikipedia's SSB pages nowadays, for the pages belong to a specialized team of editors who make great effort in keeping down the cruft and extraneous guide info in check and anything we would do would probably be getting in their way. Not that I'm saying there's a WP:OWN violation going on, but it just means that SmashWiki's much more fun. Erik Jensen (Appreciate|Laugh At) 07:29, 14 August 2007 (UTC)[reply]

it's cool[edit]

don't worry. if you didn't mean for it to come off as an attack, it's alright. we're all pretty tense and on edge in that article. it's probably because of how many edits we need to deal with. FyreNWater 22:05, 16 August 2007 (UTC)[reply]

I knew it was cool all along in a sense, hence why I thought I should try to post a lecture encouraging editors in general to take things a bit easier. And hopefully establishing that SmashWiki is a viable place for people to post detailed information will cause that sort of cruft to tone down over here at Wikipedia and allow for less chaos in general in the future. It is a Nintendo videogame, after all. ^_^Erik Jensen (Appreciate|Laugh At) 22:13, 16 August 2007 (UTC)[reply]
Oh geez - you're a girl!? Who's almost my age? And also lives in California like I do!? My natural courtesy shows a lot more when I'm aware of these things. Erik Jensen (Appreciate|Laugh At) 22:49, 16 August 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Amazing Collection[edit]

I just wanted you to take a look at this link (hope it's not too slow for your connection). This guy has over 900 games for the classic systems and new ones alike. I wonder if he may be one of the video game editors on Wikipedia? Hmm, I'd love to see AMIB's game collection, as well as Raven's and You Can't See Me's... Mine pales in comparison to this (I only have about 220 games since the SNES and Game Boy days.) Nintenboy01 23:22, 18 August 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Thanks for the link. Money is the main thought that crosses my mind when looking at all that.
Though I do feel compelled to note that it doesn't look relevant to us actually editing articles, so this thread was probably better on my "fun" environment at my Keepers talk page. Oh well. Erik Jensen (Appreciate|Laugh At) 04:51, 19 August 2007 (UTC)[reply]
Oops, my apologies again. You can move this or remove it if you like. And like you said before, in my case at least there's not much actual editing to be done on my favorite articles on Wikipedia anymore, due to all the revert-happy guard dog editors prowling about... Nintenboy01 21:47, 19 August 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Golden Sun for FAC?[edit]

I think it's time we put Golden Sun up for featured article candidacy. If you agree, I'll go and nominate it. David Fuchs (talk) 17:10, 2 September 2007 (UTC)[reply]

I certainly agree... and I also think we'll likely have to do a lot of work on the page itself in response to the concerns of all who would comment on the FAC page. That seems to happen with any page undergoing the FAC process. Erik Jensen (Appreciate|Laugh At) 17:38, 2 September 2007 (UTC)[reply]
As you can see, there are only some minor issues dealing with taking away, which is certainly easier than adding. :) I'll handle the citation, and I cut one more paragraph of plot, but I think the other plot and condensation is prolly better handled by you. David Fuchs (talk) 01:06, 6 September 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Keepers[edit]

What's become of Keepers? Did you delete it on purpose due to all the pests that have started attacking it? Nintenboy01 16:01, 4 September 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Looks like it was deleted by some wandering admin who didn't notify me at all before or even afterwards because it was an "Attack page, lengthy rant that is derogatory to AMIB, Essjay and a bunch of others" (according the Deletion Log), even though it was all meant to be humorous and lighthearted. I was prepared to receive a notice about it so that I could clean most of it out and leave only that EVERQUEST story in there. Saddening, yes, but I did realize very recently that Keepers technically counts as an attack page nonetheless because it was showcasing vandalism, and that was actually my concern behind telling you not to call Disgruntled Editor a "real kook" on the talk page, because that counts as an attack too.
The EVERQUEST story, nonetheless, I still feel is appropriate to keep linked humorously from my main user page because that whole story was something AMIB found absolutely amusing; there's nothing derogatory about me posting it on here. Erik Jensen (Appreciate|Laugh At) 18:54, 4 September 2007 (UTC)[reply]
Gulp, I hope that my "attack" didn't trigger the deletion. But yeah, although Keepers was just for fun I can imagine some people like Skelly making vandalism on purpose just to see if they get featured. However I bet AMIB knew of Keeper's existence for a along time, and he didn't seem to mind it at all. What if we asked him to speak with this "Radiant!" fellow and ask him to loosen up a bit? Even Admins should have a sense of humor and not be super-strict. I bet Raven and You Can't See Me! must be sad about the loss of Keepers too... Nintenboy01 20:40, 4 September 2007 (UTC)[reply]
I'm pretty sure you didn't trigger it at all. Now that I think of it, that Essjay section I had was pretty inappropriate and probably was the trigger... And I already left messages on Radiant's talk page because I agree with the deletion now. Anyway, there's still a short section on my main user page listing the most amusing things I've found on Wikipedia, including the Emstu10 ALLCAPS and AMIB's loving response, so I'll just fiddle around with that instead. ;) Erik Jensen (Appreciate or Laugh At) 20:45, 4 September 2007 (UTC)[reply]

P.S. I also quickly skimmed Radiant!'s talk page, and it looks like he has this strong tendency to delete talk pages and articles without warning. To me, this seems like an abuse of his Admin privileges... I think we really should have AMIB or another fair admin speak with him. Nintenboy01 20:51, 4 September 2007 (UTC)[reply]

I'd rather not press that, it's really not that important to me, personally. Erik Jensen (Appreciate or Laugh At) 20:53, 4 September 2007 (UTC)[reply]
I understand. I just don't like it when some admins seem abusive and drunk with power. After all, didn't AMIB once say that Admins are still at the same level as a newbie editor, with no class distinction? Well, no worries, Keepers will live on in my heart, hehe. Nintenboy01 21:02, 4 September 2007 (UTC)[reply]
I'd have to agree with Nintenboy. I don't entirely know what's going on here, but it seems to me that a number of users are a little delete-happy. As soon as I made my account last week an article I check regularly was put up for deletion. The problem was, most of the pro-delete arguments were editing concerns, not deletion concerns. We managed to come to a compromise, but I'm still surprised that they would rather delete the article than try to fix it. I think once I read somewhere that "deletion should only be used when all other options have been exhausted" or something to that effect. After all, isn't that why we have alternatives to deletion? Now, things might have been different for this Keepers page (sounds like it was pretty funny; I wish I could've seen it), but the least this person could have done is gone to the talk page to bring up their concerns and give you a chance to fix it. But going around and just deleting a page without any warning? That's just plain rude! Okay, I'm glad I got that out of my system. The world's hungriest paperweight 23:05, 4 September 2007 (UTC)[reply]
Well, I might consider what I have in my Bunch of Miscellany section on my main userpage to be the cream of the crop from Keepers. Erik Jensen (Appreciate or Laugh At) 06:58, 5 September 2007 (UTC)[reply]

This is quite a shame. All of those months of archiving instances upon instances of angst, stupidity, or otherwise unintentional humor gone in the blink of an eye without even an AFD to remember it by. Quite a shame indeed. My sincerest apologies if anything I had submitted damaged your cause. Regards, You Can't Review Me!!! 00:56, 6 September 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Raven is Gone![edit]

This is quite a koinky-dink, but I just discovered that Raven has left Wikipedia as of September 2! Quite a shame, really... First HighwayCello, then AMIB (temporarily) and now this. I just hope he didn't leave due to any bad reasons. I think being peaceful and non-confrontational like you is easily the best way to survive on Wikipedia. Nintenboy01 21:43, 4 September 2007 (UTC)[reply]

That's quite something! If my Keepers were deleted several days ago I might've guessed he left because of that, but in this situation maybe he left because of all the tough stuff that's been going on at WP:PCP regarding images and Pokemon lists. Well, good luck to him wherever he goes. Erik Jensen (Appreciate or Laugh At) 21:51, 4 September 2007 (UTC)[reply]
Nah, first I had exams, then a bunch of school projects one after the other, and plus I've got a bunch of super-tough exams coming up next year, so I just decided I didn't have enough time to do anything for the Project except make helpful edits to the Keepers subpage as an IP. Thanks, though. --59.164.116.255 15:15, 5 September 2007 (UTC)[reply]
Ah, good to know that you're still around. It's just a shame that Erik's Keepers page as we know it is gone, so most of our efforts and contributions were in vain... Nintenboy01 20:22, 5 September 2007 (UTC)[reply]
Wait, you were TRA!? Geez, I totally didn't figure that out earlier! Erik Jensen (Appreciate or Laugh At) 20:24, 5 September 2007 (UTC)[reply]
Yup, it is a shame. But I see now that they've even slashed down WP:BJAODN, I gues our little effort had no chance of survival. --59.164.116.157 14:45, 7 September 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Keepers[edit]

I was under the impression that, since the page was listed on MFD, you were aware of its potential deletion; sorry if I was mistaken about that. If you wish the parts that were less offensive and more funny restored, please drop me a line. Aside from that, per your request I've created that redirect and protected it. Happy editing, >Radiant< 11:25, 5 September 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Hey Erik, I can't seem to find the Emstu and Skeletor tales in your miscellany section. Do you still have them somewhere else? At the very least, those two stories should be preserved! (After all, AMIB himself and Skeletor enjoyed those stories right? And HighWay is long gone.) Anyway, it's a good thing I saved the Keepers page to my hard drive, though it's a pretty old version. Nintenboy01 14:54, 5 September 2007 (UTC)[reply]
Thanks, Radiant, though I really wasn't aware of an MFD on it at all... But I found that I had also saved the code of the subpage to my hard drive on July 7, which is quite recent. And my "Exhibits A and B" are the highlights of the Emstu story; I have yet to figure out what others should be put in there and how.
