Welcome to Wikipedia. We welcome and appreciate your contributions, including your edits to Gunpowder, but we cannot accept original research. Original research also encompasses combining published sources in a way to imply something that none of them explicitly say. Please be prepared to cite a reliable source for all of your contributions. Thank you. NeilN talk to me 00:30, 1 July 2013 (UTC)
Original research[edit]
Hello, I'm DVdm. I noticed that you made a change to an article, Poker dice, but you didn't provide a reliable source. It's been removed for now, but if you'd like to include a citation and re-add it, please do so! If you need guidance on referencing, please see the referencing for beginners tutorial, or if you think I made a mistake, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Please note that http://boardgamegeek.com does not qualify as a wp:reliable source, and that a phrase like "These may be the same dice that...'"" doesn't even appear in that source. This is an example of wp:original research. - DVdm (talk) 08:27, 19 April 2014 (UTC)
- OK, fine. I was only trying to help. Maybe I should have used a phrase like "Koplow Games sells a similar set" I notice you also removed the link to the manufacturers website - is that also not a reliable source?
- Also I notice you removed the links to the separate 12 sided poker dice as well.Escribblings (talk) 15:11, 19 April 2014 (UTC)
- Re-edited - I have kept the links to BoardGameGeek as this site clearly shows pictures of the sets.Escribblings (talk) 17:35, 19 April 2014 (UTC)
