Information icon Welcome to Wikipedia, and thank you for your contributions. Although everyone is welcome to contribute constructively to the encyclopedia, please note that there is a Manual of Style that should be followed to maintain a consistent, encyclopedic appearance. Deviating from this style, as you did in Russell Keller Laros, disturbs uniformity among articles and may cause readability or accessibility problems. Please take a look at the welcome page to learn more about contributing to this encyclopedia. Thank you. Scorbunny (talk) 14:19, 17 March 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Russell Keller Laros moved to draftspace

[edit]

An article you recently created, Russell Keller Laros, largely cites content from the Laros Foundation website and books that were published by the foundation. As the foundation was founded by the subject, it cannot be considered independent, and thus such citations do not contribute to the subject's notability. Moreover, this copyright violation report would suggest that in addition to not having enough citations to independent sources, this article may contain copyright violations, which are unacceptable on Wikipedia. Please provide citations to independent, reliable sources, and avoid copying content directly from copyrighted sources. I've moved your draft to draftspace (with a prefix of "Draft:" before the article title) where you can incubate the article with minimal disruption. When you feel the article meets Wikipedia's general notability guideline and thus is ready for mainspace, please click on the "Submit your draft for review!" button at the top of the page. signed, Rosguill talk 22:33, 13 June 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Managing a conflict of interest

[edit]

Information icon Hello, Eshimerbowers. We welcome your contributions, but if you have an external relationship with the people, places or things you have written about in the page Russell K. Laros, you may have a conflict of interest (COI). Editors with a COI may be unduly influenced by their connection to the topic. See the COI guideline and FAQ for organizations for more information. We ask that you:

  • avoid editing or creating articles about yourself, your family, friends, company, organization or competitors;
  • propose changes on the talk pages of affected articles (you can use the {{request edit}} template);
  • disclose your COI when discussing affected articles (see WP:DISCLOSE);
  • avoid linking to your organization's website in other articles (see WP:SPAM);
  • do your best to comply with Wikipedia's content policies.

In addition, you must disclose your employer, client, and affiliation with respect to any contribution which forms all or part of work for which you receive, or expect to receive, compensation (see WP:PAID).

Also, editing for the purpose of advertising, publicising, or promoting anyone or anything is not permitted. Thank you. Ifnord (talk) 15:07, 11 July 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Speedy deletion nomination of Russell K. Laros

[edit]

Hello Eshimerbowers,

I wanted to let you know that I just tagged Russell K. Laros for deletion, because it seems to be copied from another source, probably infringing copyright.

If you feel that the article shouldn't be deleted and want more time to rewrite it in your own words, you can contest this deletion, but don't remove the speedy deletion tag from the top.

You can leave a note on my talk page if you have questions. Thanks!
