Speedy deletion nomination of The battle of vincenne
[edit]If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.
You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.
Hello, and welcome to Wikipedia. This is a notice to inform you that a tag has been placed on The battle of vincenne requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A1 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because it is a very short article providing little or no context to the reader. Please see Wikipedia:Stub for our minimum information standards for short articles. Also please note that articles must be on notable subjects and should provide references to reliable sources that verify their content.
If you think that the page was nominated in error, contest the nomination by clicking on the button labelled "Click here to contest this speedy deletion" in the speedy deletion tag. Doing so will take you to the talk page where you can explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. You can also visit the page's talk page directly to give your reasons, but be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be removed without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but do not hesitate to add information that is consistent with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, you can contact one of these administrators to request that the administrator userfy the page or email a copy to you. Manway 00:04, 16 December 2012 (UTC)

Battle of Vincennes
[edit]Hi Ethan1012,
Just popped by to let you know that your I have done an amount of work on your recent article "Battle of Vincennes". Perhaps when you are free you can go back and have a look at the expansions I did to it and see how they sit with you. Mostly I worked on expanding the article, sections, references, wikilinks and an extra image. Please share if you have any issues or if something I added doesn't sit right with what you know on the topic. Many thanks for the effort and wishing you happy wiki-ing! Regards, (MrNiceGuy1113 (talk) 17:17, 16 December 2012 (UTC))
Speedy deletion nomination of The Battle of Kesab
[edit]Hello Ethan1012,
I wanted to let you know that I just tagged The Battle of Kesab for deletion, because it doesn't appear to contain any encyclopedic content. Take a look at our suggestions for essential content in short articles to learn what should be included.
If you feel that the article shouldn't be deleted and want more time to work on it, you can contest this deletion, but please don't remove the speedy deletion tag from the top.
You can leave a note on my talk page if you have questions. Thanks, Gareth E Kegg (talk) 01:10, 21 December 2012 (UTC)
Removing Speedy at The Battle of Kesab
[edit]Welcome to Wikipedia and thank you for taking the time to create a page here. It might not have been your intention, but you recently removed a speedy deletion tag from a page you created yourself. Because Wikipedia policy does not allow the creator of the page to remove deletion tags, an automated program has replaced the deletion tag you removed from The Battle of Kesab. Please do not continue to remove the deletion tag, instead, if you disagree with the deletion, you can follow these steps:
- Go to the page by clicking this link. Once there, select the button that says Click here to contest this speedy deletion.
- This will take you to the talk page, where you can make your case by explaining why the page does not meet Wikipedia's criteria for speedy deletion.
Administrators will look at your reasoning before deciding what to do. For further help about the deletion, you could contact the user who first placed the tag or a highly active user who is willing to help with deletion. This message was left by a bot, so please do not contact the bot about the deletion. Thank you, - SDPatrolBot (talk) 01:22, 21 December 2012 (UTC)
Please do not remove speedy deletion notices from pages you have created yourself, as you did with The Battle of Kesab. If you believe the page should not be deleted, you may contest the deletion by clicking on the button that says: Click here to contest this speedy deletion, which appears inside the speedy deletion notice. This will allow you to make your case on the article's talk page. Administrators will consider your reasoning before deciding what to do with the article. Thank you. - SDPatrolBot (talk) 01:26, 21 December 2012 (UTC)
This is your last warning. The next time you remove a speedy deletion notice from a page you have created yourself, as you did at The Battle of Kesab, you may be blocked from editing without further notice. - SDPatrolBot (talk) 01:34, 21 December 2012 (UTC)
Reported to AIV
[edit]Hi Ethan1012, this is a notice to let you know that I have reported your removal of speedy deletion templates at The Battle of Kesab to administrators. An administrator should assess the report in a short while, and they will take any appropriate actions. Please wait for an administrator before taking any further actions yourself. Thank you, - SDPatrolBot (talk) 01:35, 21 December 2012 (UTC)
Nomination of The Battle of Kesab for deletion
[edit]A discussion is taking place as to whether the article The Battle of Kesab is suitable for inclusion in Wikipedia according to Wikipedia's policies and guidelines or whether it should be deleted.
The article will be discussed at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/The Battle of Kesab until a consensus is reached, and anyone is welcome to contribute to the discussion. The nomination will explain the policies and guidelines which are of concern. The discussion focuses on high-quality evidence and our policies and guidelines.
Users may edit the article during the discussion, including to improve the article to address concerns raised in the discussion. However, do not remove the article-for-deletion template from the top of the article. Qwyrxian (talk) 01:46, 21 December 2012 (UTC)
- A note: I could block you for removing the speedy deletion templates, because article creators are never allowed to do so, but I'll decline for the moment, since the template doesn't really apply. However, as you can see, I have nominated the article for deletion following WP:AFD. This discussion will last about 7 days, so it would suddenly be deleted. Please do not remove that deletion template--doing so is actually a waste of time, because the discussion will continue even if you remove the template. However, I do invite you to take a look at my rationale for suggesting deletion, and give your input there. Qwyrxian (talk) 01:48, 21 December 2012 (UTC)
- For AfD's (in the future), please put your comments on teh AfD project page, not it's talk page. I've moved your comment over. Note that your comment, in fact, is actually evidence in favor of deletion. I recommend that you read WP:NOTNEWS and WP:EVENT to understand better how we determine what events can and can't have WP articles. Qwyrxian (talk) 04:03, 21 December 2012 (UTC)
