File copyright problem with File:BMW E12, 520i in Iran.jpg.jpg[edit]

Thank you for uploading File:BMW E12, 520i in Iran.jpg.jpg. However, it currently is missing information on its copyright and licensing status. Wikipedia takes copyright very seriously. It may be deleted soon, unless we can verify that it has an acceptable license status and a verifiable source. Please add this information by editing the image description page. You may refer to the image use policy to learn what files you can or cannot upload on Wikipedia. The page on copyright tags may help you to find the correct tag to use for your file. If the file is already gone, you can still make a request for undeletion and ask for a chance to fix the problem.

Please also check any other files you may have uploaded to make sure they are correctly tagged. Here is a list of your uploads.

If you have any questions, please feel free to ask them at the media copyright questions page. Thanks again for your cooperation. J Milburn (talk) 00:17, 21 April 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Hi there- the same applies to File:BMW E12, Interior.jpg and File:BMW E12 520i, rear view.jpg. Could you please add a copyright tag indicating the license you want to release the image under? A list of possibilities can be found here. If you have any questions, please feel free to contact me on my talk page. J Milburn (talk) 00:19, 21 April 2014 (UTC)[reply]
Hi Farzad; if you want them to be copyright free, then you want to release them into the public domain- if you go to the image page, click "edit this page", and then add "{{pd-self}}" to the page and save the page. It'll leave a template that looks like this on the image page, which lets people know that you have released the image into the public domain. If you need any help with this, leave me a message. Thanks, J Milburn (talk) 21:30, 28 April 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Your edits on BMW 5 Series (E12)[edit]

Hello. Please don't add that image to the article again. Per WP:CARPIX images should be 3/4-view to show more of the car, not straight from the front. Click on the link I provided to see what the pictures should look like. Thank you. Thomas.W talk 19:17, 8 May 2014 (UTC)[reply]
