Too many details

I belive the lists of pictures do not belong here. If the mentioned groups are notable, perhaps you should start with the groups. Xx236 (talk) 10:11, 3 March 2023 (UTC)[reply]

ArbCom 2023 Elections voter message

[edit]

Hello! Voting in the 2023 Arbitration Committee elections is now open until 23:59 (UTC) on Monday, 11 December 2023. All eligible users are allowed to vote. Users with alternate accounts may only vote once.

The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to impose binding solutions to disputes between editors, primarily for serious conduct disputes the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the authority to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail.

If you wish to participate in the 2023 election, please review the candidates and submit your choices on the voting page. If you no longer wish to receive these messages, you may add {{NoACEMM}} to your user talk page. MediaWiki message delivery (talk) 00:37, 28 November 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Mel Casas edits

[edit]

Hi! I'm just flagging that many of your additions to the Mel Casas article are not in line with the Manual of Style for Visual Arts. In particular, the long lists of works and quotes are not useful for the average reader, and the Manual of Style specifically lists these as things to avoid in artist biographies. I'm just flagging for you why I'm moving your edits to the talk page. 19h00s (talk) 23:54, 8 March 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Hello, and welcome to Wikipedia! We appreciate your contributions and hope you decide to stay. I wanted to mention that I have removed some of the puffery in the Einar and Jamex de la Torre article which I recently created. Thank you for your interest in the subject, their work is terrific.

Articles on wikipedia are written in an encyclopedic tone, rather than a promotional or emphatic tone, so I also cleaned up tone. I also removed some of the excessive detail, especially that content that relied too heavily on one review source. We strive for balance in articles, and use a summary style. I had a look at some of your other contributions, and I commend you on your interests and contributions. I did notice that your contributions relied heavily on the works of one writer in particular, I'm curious do you have a connection to Cordova or to Glasstire?
