Permodalan Darul Ta’zim (PDT) is a Johor State Government investment holding company. PDT overarching role is driving equity holdings in various strategic investments and state initiatives that promotes competition. The company involved in sectors such as plantation, utilities, leisure & tourism, property development and oil & gas services amongst others. PDT listed portfolio includes Ranhill Holdings Berhad.

History

PDT was incorporated under the Companies Act 1965 through Johor State Executive Council Meeting on 7 December 1994 as a government linked company and commenced operations on 16 December 1994.

Mandate

PDT was responsible to take over commercially, to own and to manage Johor State Government assets and equity that previously held by State Secretary (Incorporation) SS1.

PDT is governed by its board of directors, which is led by Menteri Besar, Datuk Osman Sapian as Chairman of the Board. I can't find the source quickly but this reads like I would expect the company's website to read. It is not structured like a wikipedia article. If the company is owned by the state than it might merit a breif mention on the State Govt page
