A tag has been placed on Hovid Inc requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A7 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be about an organization or company, but it does not indicate how or why the subject is important or significant: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, such articles may be deleted at any time. Please see the guidelines for what is generally accepted as notable.

If you think that this notice was placed here in error, you may contest the deletion by adding {{hang on}} to the top of the page that has been nominated for deletion (just below the existing speedy deletion, or "db", tag; if no such tag exists, then the page is no longer a speedy delete candidate and adding a hang-on tag is unnecessary), coupled with adding a note on the talk page explaining your position, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the page meets the criterion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the page that would render it more in conformance with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, you can contact one of these administrators to request that the administrator userfy the page or email a copy to you. E. Fokker (talk) 02:19, 12 January 2011 (UTC)[reply]

The article David Ho Sue San has been proposed for deletion because under Wikipedia policy, all biographies of living persons created after March 18, 2010, must have at least one source that directly supports material in the article.

If you created the article, please don't take offense. Instead, consider improving the article. For help on inserting references, see Wikipedia:Referencing for beginners or ask at Wikipedia:Help desk. Once you have provided at least one reliable source, you may remove the {{prod blp}} tag. Please do not remove the tag unless the article is sourced. If you cannot provide such a source within ten days, the article may be deleted, but you can request that it be undeleted when you are ready to add one. Visik (talk) 07:25, 13 January 2011 (UTC)[reply]

[edit]

Hi Felixlhk, thanks for your message. I did check out the references you provide on the article. They look alright, but the article probably needs an expansion to meet more criteria for WP:BLP. The general notice on the page, stats Please do not remove this tag unless the article has at least one such source.

I think you met the criteria, so you can go ahead and remove the notice if you like. good luck. --Visik (talk) 06:40, 17 January 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Will there be anything happen if I didn't remove the tag? If not, I did rather let the administrators to decide. Thanks! Felixlhk (talk) 00:13, 19 January 2011 (UTC)[reply]
Hi Felixlhk, you can remove the tag. If you don't then the people discussing WP:PROD will decide if it meets the criteria. I have removed the notice because the rules say you need at least one source. You have provided two. It would be nice if you could expand the article include more sources. I have made some minor fixes to the article. have a good one. --Visik (talk) 02:01, 20 January 2011 (UTC)[reply]
Sorry, forgot to mention, the article is now a stub article. More references and expanding in more detail will help the article stand on its own. Wikipedia:Biographies of living persons for more information. --Visik (talk) 02:04, 20 January 2011 (UTC)[reply]
Thanks a lot for the assistance. Really learn a lot from you, thanks!Felixlhk (talk) 03:29, 20 January 2011 (UTC)[reply]

No problem; as long as you're careful to make it neutral, and as long as you demonstrate that the company is important enough to be on Wikipedia, go ahead. It wasn't deleted as advertising: the reason for deletion is that you didn't show why the company was important enough to be in an encyclopedia. One question — are you the same person as Felix2011? Nyttend (talk) 12:54, 24 January 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Hi Nyttend, nope...I'm part of the team of IpohWorld.org, a group of people that like to spread out to the world about our hometown Ipoh, talking about the history of how the city grow from a small tin mining town to be a city nowadays, mostly aiming the history at about 150 years from now is my target. My research is more on Ipoh Homegrown Family Business that grow from a tiny herbal tea stall, hawker stall & tin-craft stall to some influential economy contributor to Ipoh growth.Felixlhk (talk) 00:49, 25 January 2011 (UTC)[reply]
