I don't know actually. Consider asking at the Village pump. Thanks! --Celestianpower háblame 21:53, 30 January 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Thanks for your post to the discussion page. It was a good point, I thought of making it too but didn't want to muddy the waters further. It's nice to get in touch with other Vancouver editors.--Anchoress 20:39, 5 February 2006 (UTC)[reply]

He Who Must Not Be Named

[edit]

fennel, I responded on my talk page.--Anchoress 09:25, 22 March 2006 (UTC)[reply]

A tag has been placed on Image:Sheela na gig Fethard wall.jpg requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section I1 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the image is redundant copy (all pixels the same or scaled down) of an image in the same file format, which is on Wikipedia (not on Commons), and all inward links have been updated.

If you think that this notice was placed here in error, you may contest the deletion by adding {{hangon}} to the top of the page that has been nominated for deletion (just below the existing speedy deletion or "db" tag), coupled with adding a note on [[ Talk:Image:Sheela na gig Fethard wall.jpg|the talk page]] explaining your position, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the article meets the criterion it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the article that would would render it more in conformance with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. File:Hotglass1.jpg missing description details

[edit]
Dear uploader: The media file you uploaded as File:Hotglass1.jpg is missing a description and/or other details on its image description page. If possible, please add this information. This will help other editors to make better use of the image, and it will be more informative for readers.

If the information is not provided, the image may eventually be proposed for deletion, a situation which is not desirable, and which can easily be avoided.

If you have any questions please see Help:Image page. Thank you. Sfan00 IMG (talk) 00:52, 19 November 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Re: The Public

[edit]

Time to get back to work, Mr. Fennel! The Interior(Talk) 06:35, 25 November 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Here's a link to the page I was talking about: WP:DPWL. Fun timewaster. The Interior(Talk) 10:41, 25 November 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Editing questions:

  • Piped links: by putting a | (not lowercase L, or sanserif I, but the thing above the forwardslash on a mac keyboard - called a pipe) between two words inside a link, the first word will be the destination, the second will be the displayed text. Example: [[Fart|breaking wind]] will appear as breaking wind but link to fart.
  • Footnotes this is not a settled issue, but the main article review areas in WP prefer the templates at WP:CITET. They look gnarly, but any field you leave blank doesn't show up. It really does make things look better.
Great start to the article. If you uncover something 'hooky' about the theatre in your research, we could even nominate for Did You Know? (I'd have to recuse myself from the review though.) The Interior(Talk) 00:15, 27 November 2010 (UTC)[reply]

In support of this goal, the edit-a-thon at Atla's (formerly the American Theological Library Association) annual meeting will focus on improving articles about women in religion.
