Managing a conflict of interest

Hello, Franklinliutsung. Thanks Ollie; the topic is about my father, no conflicts there as there's nothing gained from promoting a past event of what occurred in 1994 and 1998, and am wondering how to best convey the actual history of what happened within online brokerage; where digiTrade provided the online platform for many systems in an era [1998] where minorities were not provided the opportunity to present themselves. As the second generation, have the opportune here to explain the necessary fact patterns around digitrade. Additional sources can be provided by JP Morgan [a request for historical deal book has been made, awaiting that fact pattern to be received and posted online]. Wikipedia does consider editing about your family to be a conflict of interest. Former employees would have COI as well. MrOllie (talk) 01:21, 25 April 2022 (UTC)

hmm...that is interesting. Would assumed clippings of past news that talks about it to be objective enough but understand the optics. How about JP Morgan the bankers on the deal in 98 [they do still have the deal book]. Franklinliutsung (talk) 01:23, 25 April 2022 (UTC)

We would need sourcing that was written and published completely independently of digitrade, that cover all the information added. Much of what you're trying to add to the article is not explicitly stated in the sources. Financial documents are primary sources and are not really helpful either - please do read the policy links that have been linked above for details. MrOllie (talk) 01:26, 25 April 2022 (UTC)
