Jb, Are you a Wikipedia administrator? I have done extensive research on this particular person and have found what i deem to be reliable resources per your recommendation. I have also done research on parallel personalities who have the same sources as this person does. I would like for a wiki representative to arbitrate between us because i have found a newspaper article about him proving all my info is valid. i would also like to understand why none of my online sources are being appraised as valid when in other cases it is. thank you Jsousa 12:23, 18 October 2015 (UTC)

No I am not an admin. However what you deem to be a reliable source is irrelevant. What is considered a reliable source on Wikipedia is defined at WP:RS and the notability criteria are at WP:GNG, WP:MUSICBIO and related pages. I have provided you links to those several times. If you have a good newspaper source, cite it in the article, if I missed it I am sorry but I see nothing of the sort. At this point that is neither here nor there. I have nominated the article for deletion here AfD link because I see no evidence the subject meets the notability criteria for inclusion in Wikipedia. Please comment there. Thank you. What i deem to be reliable is relevant because the interpretation of those texts (all of which i read and studied by the way) is more malleable than you are leading them on to be. My argument is this: A lot of the references i gave you were accredited and respected sources of information. Since the inception of rule in 2010 (living persons bio) the internet has become a leading source of information and actual physical paper has taken a drastic plunge. The truth is that today we rely on websites for information - the newspaper article that i found an article on this person was a scan and did not have the authors name or title of the article. I discovered that "Nashville Rage" shut down on 2011 by heather Byrd and that no archives were made of all their printed material. As a matter of fact, If wiki is to propagate it will have to change with the times in part because today we just don't have technology to support the archival of hundreds of years of worldwide written material. Just because someone from the Washington Post hasnt written about someone it doesnt mean they aren't important in a certain industry or that they don't exist. We are dealing with pockets of "micro-fame" today because media is no longer monopolized. This is an important Brazilian producer who has had a profound impact in the music industry and a page already exists for him in Portuguese. I have honored the references and all of them are solid sources of information. I see you are not an administrator and that your zeal for maintaining the integrity of Wikipedia is intact, but don't allow your vehemence to create bottlenecks of infrastructure that might destroy the very principles that make Wiki great - it's infrastructure of collective input. Please make your arguments at the AfD page - engaging in protracted discussion here will accomplish nothing. I suggest that there you simply state how the article subject passes Wikipedia's notability requirements and how reliable sources show he does. Nothing else matters and will detract from your argument. The people at AfD have heard every form of special pleading argument you can possibly make and will discount them out of hand. The Portuguese article has no better sourcing than this one does so that is not a useful argument. Just demonstrate the subject's notability per Wikipedia's policies. Cheers.
