Presentation

[edit]

Would you like to make a brief presentation next Monday? Good for the class and for you for feedback! --Jfclegg (talk) 20:42, 22 October 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Presentation et al

[edit]

Giuliana will be presenting time OA on Monday but you may have more to say. Find some interesting examples? A book that will be useful for you is Linebaugh's The London Hanged (based largely on the OA). --Jfclegg (talk) 12:53, 24 October 2015 (UTC)[reply]

presentation

[edit]

We need to go onto Defoe the following week... perhaps you could just present one example of an interesting issue of the OA. You dint need sources for this - just find an example or two on the web site. Alternatively, you could say something (next week or even the following one) on Defoe's attitude to the Ordinary - he was notoriously hostile (see Moll Flanders). You might get some feedback--Jfclegg (talk) 12:59, 24 October 2015 (UTC)![reply]

If it is alright with you I would prefer to look into Defoe's attitude to the Ordinary for the following week. I think it would be more interesting since I also choose to read Moll Flanders for the paper! And because, unfortunately, I will not be able to read Linebaugh's book this weekend. But I will read it for my Wikipedia entry, thank you very much for the suggestion! GMari92 (talk) 13:24, 24 October 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Time to publish

[edit]

Hi Gmari92, I see you have been writing in your sandbox, but the Ordinary of Newgate's Account article has yet to be published. I think you should do it asap, so that other users can give you feedback and suggest you improvements or modifications. Just publish a stub, with a good lead and good references, then you can add more paragraphs along the way, you don't need to publish a full article from scratch.--Navarco (talk) 15:15, 9 November 2015 (UTC)[reply]
