While you are requested below to make a declaration on any COI might include current or past IRPS membership, you also have the right and should avoid any statement that could result in disclosure of personal information or would enable you to be identified. A simple yes or no would in my opinion be sufficient. Djm-leighpark (talk) 00:27, 13 August 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Possibly biased edit on RPSI[edit]

Please retract your edits at Railway Preservation Society of Ireland. I believe you have a COI and are again trying to stir things up with bias. Previously you ignored calls to mediate previously and have restarted editing the article. I am likely blocked from doing reversions, but making Drmies, Seloloving and Mjroots who have previously been aware of issues on this article aware. Thankyou. Djm-leighpark (talk) 14:09, 25 December 2021 (UTC)[reply]

I am in the process of citating my edits, there is nothing untoward about them. I have been out of action for sometime and just getting around to know. I was asked for sources for a previous issue which I have to hand but I'm editing the less 'heavy' stuff first. As it stands, the article was very biased/leaning towards Whitehead and it's only right to mention the operations centres at Dublin and Mullingar. GalavantEnchancedMoon (talk) 14:15, 25 December 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Its the way who've said stuff. straight away. Well I can't edit war you as I'm PBlock'd by Mjroots. I expect a COIN, and/or maybe ANI awaits unless one of the aforementiond deal with it first. And I really haveto spend Christmas with family rather than raising COINs/ANI on WP. If you don't like my attitude please take me to ANI for harrassment or something. Djm-leighpark (talk) 14:23, 25 December 2021 (UTC)[reply]
dont worry I dont think your harrassing me :) . Enjoy the day, Ive just added a bit of background on the bases at Dublin, Mullingar and Sallins GalavantEnchancedMoon (talk) 14:35, 25 December 2021 (UTC)[reply]
... and I am reading a little of the North vs South chip-on-the=shoulder in the way you've written it. Subtle but its there. I do apprreciate bring the 2-6-0/2-6-4T heading matters to discussion, and I hope to respond there shortly. Its not really how I wanted to spend my Christams. Disputed facts allegation on RPSI page[edit]

I object to you allegation at the summary of Special:Diff/1062687885 namely: (Mullingar base: citated/better explained bit ) DJMLeighpark disputed facts of. I am concerned about an WP:UNDUE POV psuh of the Railway Preservation Society of Ireland at Mullingar way beyond what is appropriate, backed by primary sources, despite concerned by Drmies on the use of primary sources. Due to Mjroots I cannot respond to your allegations in the edit summary. While I am currently (again) an RPSI my contributions, views and actions are my own, and do not necessarily align with those of the RPSI. I do not claim to represent the RPSI in any way. Thankyou. 03:47, 30 December 2021 (UTC)[reply]

  • I thought you were when you suggested the Mullingar thing was to do with CIE not using the Athlone line (Mullingar is still served by the Sligo line anyway, but that's neither or nor there). But I saw what you mean, I think, that it might have looked like an unfounded POV claim. So I qualified the detail. I mean no offense.GalavantEnchancedMoon (talk) 19:50, 31 December 2021 (UTC)[reply]
