Welcome to Wikipedia. Although everyone is welcome to contribute constructively to the encyclopedia, your addition of one or more external links to the page Mayra Andrade has been reverted.
Your edit here was reverted by an automated bot that attempts to remove links which are discouraged per our external links guideline from Wikipedia. The external link you added or changed is on my list of links to remove and probably shouldn't be included in Wikipedia. I removed the following link(s): http://www.myspace.com/mayraandrade (matching the regex rule \bmyspace\.com).
If you were trying to insert an external link that does comply with our policies and guidelines, then please accept my creator's apologies and feel free to undo the bot's revert. However, if the link does not comply with our policies and guidelines, but your edit included other, constructive, changes to the article, feel free to make those changes again without re-adding the link. Please read Wikipedia's external links guideline for more information, and consult my list of frequently-reverted sites. For more information about me, see my FAQ page. Welcome to Wikipedia. Although everyone is welcome to contribute to the encyclopedia, one or more of the external links you added to the page Roberto Fonseca do not comply with our guidelines for external links and have been removed. Wikipedia is not a collection of links; nor should it be used as a platform for advertising or promotion, and doing so is contrary to the goals of this project. Because Wikipedia uses nofollow tags, external links do not alter search engine rankings. If you feel the link should be added to the article, please discuss it on the article's talk page before reinserting it. Please take a look at the welcome page to learn more about contributing to this encyclopedia.

Images

[edit]

Hi Georgia,
I noticed that you uploaded File:Esperanza-Spalding-cms.jpg and put in into the Esperanza Spalding article. Since the image is copyrighted and not released under a free license that can be used here I had to remove it again, and the image will likely be deleted soon as well.
I have looked for a better image for that article myself a few months ago, and even talked to her agent, but to no avail. We will probably have to wait until a Wikipedia editor manages to take a picture directly.
If you have any questions about this, feel free to ask.
Cheers, Amalthea 19:52, 23 November 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Removing Cited Sources

[edit]

Dear Georgia,

It is very critical that you do not remove a good-credible-cited source (s) unless you replace it with a better one (s). This is even more important with biographies of living people, please go and read: Wikipedia:Biographies of living persons

Removing a good citation with no further action is vandalism.

The information that was there was cited with a good source. You changed the material and removed the source without adding back a better/updated source (s) of your own.

Citing Sources

[edit]

Your additions need:

Please add these or the information that you added might be removed and/or your edits reverted.

Also try to avoid:

Wikipedia:Conflict of interest
Wikipedia:Point of view
Wikipedia:Original research
etc.

Make them reliable, third-party references.

Thank you,

Article Content

[edit]

The Esperanza Spalding article should be about Esperanza Spalding.

Adding material like:

"Founded in 1954, the Newport Jazz Festival® was the first jazz festival in America, and has been host to numerous legendary performances by iconic historic figures and contemporary geniuses."

Is not acceptable. That material belongs where? You guessed it in the article for the Newport Jazz Festival.

Please, please, please take the time to read the Help section via the links at the top of your/this talk page. The section about editing articles and content.

Please read and review:

Removing cited sources

[edit]

Please DO NOT remove cited sources unless you have better sources to replace them or those sources are incorrect, which you need to prove.

Please, take a few minuets to read:

If you had never seen an airplane in your life, nor heard anything about one, would you jump in and take off in it without reading up on it first?
