The article Georgia hardinge has been proposed for deletion because it appears to have no references. Under Wikipedia policy, this newly created biography of a living person will be deleted unless it has at least one reference to a reliable source that directly supports material in the article.

If you created the article, please don't be offended. Instead, consider improving the article. For help on inserting references, see Referencing for beginners, or ask at the help desk. Once you have provided at least one reliable source, you may remove the {{prod blp}} tag. Please do not remove the tag unless the article is sourced. If you cannot provide such a source within ten days, the article may be deleted, but you can request that it be undeleted when you are ready to add one. If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.

You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.

A tag has been placed on Georgia hardinge requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section G12 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article or image appears to be a clear copyright infringement. For legal reasons, we cannot accept copyrighted text or images borrowed from other web sites or printed material, and as a consequence, your addition will most likely be deleted. You may use external websites as a source of information, but not as a source of sentences. This part is crucial: say it in your own words. Wikipedia takes copyright violations very seriously and persistent violators will be blocked from editing.

If the external website or image belongs to you, and you want to allow Wikipedia to use the text or image — which means allowing other people to modify it — then you must verify that externally by one of the processes explained at Wikipedia:Donating copyrighted materials. If you are not the owner of the external website or image but have permission from that owner, see Wikipedia:Requesting copyright permission. You might want to look at Wikipedia's policies and guidelines for more details, or ask a question here.

If you think that the page was nominated in error, contest the nomination by clicking on the button labelled "Click here to contest this speedy deletion" in the speedy deletion tag. Doing so will take you to the talk page where you can explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. You can also visit the page's talk page directly to give your reasons, but be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be removed without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but do not hesitate to add information that is consistent with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. ⁓ Hello71 18:13, 14 October 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Please do not write or add to an article about yourself. Creating an autobiography is strongly discouraged – see our guideline on writing autobiographies. If you create such an article, it may be deleted. If what you have done in life is genuinely notable and can be verified according to our policy for articles about living people, someone else will probably create an article about you sooner or later (see Wikipedians with articles). If you wish to add to an existing article about yourself, please propose the changes on its talk page. Please understand that this is an encyclopedia and not a personal web space or social networking site. If your article has already been deleted, please see: Why was my page deleted?, and if you feel the deletion was an error, please discuss it with the deleting administrator. Thank you. Please read all the linked policies. Thanks. Thekillerpenguin (talk) 18:18, 14 October 2012 (UTC)[reply]

First of all, your article and your user page have been deleted as copyright violations. Wikipedia is licensed under CC-BY-SA 3.0 for free reuse by anyone anywhere, but your text is copyright and not CC licensed. We cannot accept copyright text - which basically means anything already published (being on a website that the public can read counts as publishing). This applies even though you (or a PR friend) wrote it. It is possible to license the text, but I don't recommend it in this case, which brings me to the second point. As is mostly the case, your website text is promotional. Nothing wrong with that - that's what one's website is for. However, it's different here. Wikipedia is an encyclopaedia, and we don't allow promotional material. Now the third point - please read WP:CORP and/or WP:BIO. Depends whether you're doing a piece about your business or you yourself. (This isn't really recommended, but it's not forbidden. It's difficult, though.) Then read WP:RS about the reliable independent sources we require, and WP:NPOV about neutral point of view. It's not like Facebook, where you can post what you want. (Well, almost...) Getting the idea? Notability (our definition) and references (not blogs, forums, your site, your aunt's site, Facebook etc, blogspot, wordpress, press releases including things like PRWire, The Sun (mostly), one sentence mentions, lists of whatever, or promotional interviews. Not as easy as it looks. Leave me a message if you think you can meet the requirements, and tell me the references. We're not here to help you develop your business, but if you've really arrived (as opposed to up and coming or breaking through) then you stand a chance. Be honest with yourself. Good luck with the business, anyway. Peridon (talk) 18:39, 14 October 2012 (UTC)[reply]
