License tagging for Image:How to reach South Horizons.jpg

[edit]

Thanks for uploading Image:How to reach South Horizons.jpg. Wikipedia gets thousands of images uploaded every day, and in order to verify that the images can be legally used on Wikipedia, the source and copyright status must be indicated. Images need to have an image tag applied to the image description page indicating the copyright status of the image. This uniform and easy-to-understand method of indicating the license status allows potential re-users of the images to know what they are allowed to do with the images.

For more information on using images, see the following pages:

This is an automated notice by OrphanBot. If you need help on selecting a tag to use, or in adding the tag to the image description, feel free to post a message at Wikipedia:Media copyright questions. 15:08, 31 August 2006 (UTC)

Proposed deletion

[edit]

I've added the "{{prod}}" template to the article South horizons, suggesting that it be deleted according to the proposed deletion process. All contributions are appreciated, but I don't believe it satisfies Wikipedia's criteria for inclusion, and I've explained why in the deletion notice (see also Wikipedia:What Wikipedia is not and Wikipedia:Notability). Please either work to improve the article if the topic is worthy of inclusion in Wikipedia, or, if you disagree, discuss the issues raised at Talk:South horizons. If you remove the {{dated prod}} template, the article will not be deleted, but note that it may still be sent to Wikipedia:Articles for deletion, where it may be deleted if consensus to delete is reached. AfD Nomination: South horizons

Hello, and welcome to Wikipedia! We welcome and appreciate your contributions, but all Wikipedia articles must meet our criteria for inclusion (see What Wikipedia is not and Deletion policy). Since it does not seem to me that South horizons meets these criteria, I have started a discussion about whether this article should be kept or deleted.

Your opinion on whether this article meets the inclusion criteria is welcome. Please contribute to the discussion by adding your comments at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/South horizons. Don't forget to add four tildes (~~~~) at the end of each of your comments to sign them.

Discussions such as these usually last five days. In the meantime, you are free to edit the content of the article. Please do not remove the "articles for deletion" template (the box at the top). When the discussion has concluded, an administrator will consider all comments and decide whether or not to delete the article. Awyong Jeffrey Mordecai Salleh 00:31, 12 September 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Hi Gggu, I just wanted to say something about the South horizons deletion discussion. I, regretfully, voted delete, but I also want to take a chance to compliment you. First of all, most new-ish authors take it way too personally if someone proposes to delete their article. You took it very gracefully. Second, it's obvious from your impressive article that you can write great articles. You would be a huge asset to wikipedia if you keep writing like this. All you need to do is apply that skill to stuff we can keep :-) My Alt Account 22:09, 12 September 2006 (UTC)[reply]

  • If you have retained a copy of the South Horizons article which you wrote, I would like to have it. Someone wrote another article on the development which was not a patch on yours, which I had deleted. I have come across something which makes me think that I can source the information needed to retain the article, and would like to try. Ohconfucius 04:49, 17 July 2007 (UTC)[reply]
