Request reason:

I have not logged into Wikipedia to edit since 2019. I use this account to demonstrate how Wikipedia works to my computer students. I logged in this week to find I had been blocked which means either a: someone got my pwd and has been trolling with it, OR, I am some sort of collateral damage. I seem unable to create a new account, which I used as demonstration purposes to teach high school students how to use Wikipedia, as it is a valuable resource I hope to see last many more years. I can't seem to find a way to get unblocked or create a new account and thus can't demonstrate this tool to the next gen. I am not a troll, in fact I teach my students not to be trolls in this course. Please unblock my account or completely eliminated it so that I can create a new one. Thank you. -Chad

I guess there's nothing I can do about that. I don't know how to make someone believe me. I will of course cease being a financial contributor to this site if that is how I will be treated.
