Categories[edit]

Please familiarize yourself with our rules around duplicate categorization. For example, if a person is already in Category:LGBT writers from Canada, then she does not also go into either Category:LGBT people from Canada or Category:LGBT writers alongside that — and if a person is already in Category:LGBT sportspeople from England, then she does not also go into any of Category:LGBT sportspeople, Category:LGBT people from England or "LGBT [anything] from the United Kingdom" alongside that. People go only into the most specific relevant categories, and are not double or triple filed in parent categories at the same time as child ones.

Just a reminder, because you're still doing it. If a person is already in Category:LGBT singers from Australia, then do not also add him to Category:LGBT singers or Category:LGBT musicians, because "LGBT singers from Australia" is already a subcategory of the other two. If a person is already in Category:LGBT writers from England, then do not also add them to Category:LGBT writers, because "LGBT writers from England" is already a subcategory of the other one. And on and so forth: people go only into the most specific relevant categories, and are not double or triple filed in multiple steps up the same category tree. The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to impose binding solutions to disputes between editors, primarily for serious conduct disputes the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the authority to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail.

It may be a good idea for you to skim through the table at WP:RSP so that you know what is prohibited from use and what is okay to use. You may be blocked from editing without further warning the next time you violate Wikipedia's biographies of living persons policy by inserting unsourced or poorly sourced defamatory or otherwise controversial content into an article or any other Wikipedia page.

Please stop adding unsourced or poorly sourced sexual information to biographies. You have been cautioned twice about this already, yet despite those warnings:

At Mania Akbari, the source cited said that the Iranian government "had created a new profile for me and had announced through media channels that Mania Akbari had left Iran since she was HIV positive and a lesbian", and furthermore said "the government created a painful game". I'm not sure how her experience of persecution could be misinterpreted as an admission.
At Alex Kazemi, you added categories stating he was "asexual" and a "demisexual Wikipedian", though neither of these categories was supported by the article's text.
At Anna Freud you added this edit claiming she was LGBT.

Please note that Wikipedia's policies regarding biographies of living people are very strict, and "users who persistently or egregiously violate this policy may be blocked from editing". Magnolia677 (talk) 12:02, 27 January 2023 (UTC)[reply]
