Gens (the game)

'Gens' was established in 2010 by Ryan Zingales and Jeff Porter. Gens is a game designed to scare people and make them flinch. To make the person flinch, you must reach for their 'genital area' in a swift motion using your hand. Do not actually touch the persons genitals because the point of the game is to make them flinch. If you accidentally touch their genitals or "Gens" you will lose points.

Here is the scoring system for the game:

-1 point - if you actually touch someones gens while attempting to make someone flinch

1 point - Make someone flinch

2 points - Make someone of the opposite sex flinch

5 points - Make a random person flinch

10 points - Make a random person of the opposite sex flinch

20 points - Make a teacher or professor flinch

25 points - Make a priest flinch

30 points - Make a vehicle flinch

35 points - Make a random elderly person flinch

40 points - Make a random elderly person of the opposite sex flinch

50 points - Make a police officer flinch

You win the game - Make a police officer of the opposite sex flinch

There is a way to defend yourself from attackers- Method of defense:

Form one of your hands so that it is shaped like a gun (index finger and middle finger pointed towards the attacker, with your thumb in the air).. As the attacker attempts to make you flinch, point your gun-shaped-hand at them, and simply say "Don't" . If you say "Don't" to the attacker at the same time that they try to make you flinch, you will get a point and they don't receive any points. The timing of the DONT must almost be perfect though. You can receive points for Don'ting someone. You get points equal to what the attacker would get, if they had gotten you.

For EXAMPLE: If I see a random man in the streets and I go to 'Gens' him it would be worth 5 points (based on the set scoring system) But if he says "Don't" to me, he would receive 5 points. If you have any questions about this scoring system please post on the Gens Facebook group wall.

The whole point of getting points is to rank up. The highest rank is the General. If you ever have any questions about a possible 'Gens' or a possible "Don't" just contact the Generals and they will confirm if points should be given or not. we will be posting the ranking system soon enough so you can keep track of your progress.

There are special techniques that the GENerals have developed over time, feel free to ask for tips about getting people to flinch.

Please understand that this is a straight game and the whole thing is "No-Homo". If you play the game correctly it can be very fun and addicting. Pretty soon you will find yourself hiding around a corner or camping out for hours just to scare the shit our of a friend and make them fear for their Gens. This may seem stupid at first, but trust us, it gets very addicting.
