Canadian Championship standings

[edit]

Remember the whole gigantic discussion on this page about how the format for US/Canadian soccer should look? Remember the settlement that was made? Believe it or not, Canada is involved in that as well, since they use the same format that we do in the United States. That means that it's W-L-T. Believe me, I do NOT want to go through that mess again. This has been settled. Please change it back or I'll have to do it myself. --Otav347 (talk) 00:45, 17 June 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Just so you know, I don't think it's been settled at all, the CSA runs the Canadian Championship and they present the data in the order of W-D-L, so I agree with your change. The rule that otav is referring to should only apply to competitions that are governed by USSF. Canadian only competitions should be presented the same way that the CSA presents the data. NeilCanada (talk) 02:45, 17 June 2008 (UTC)[reply]
The idea to change it came from Wikipedia talk:WikiProject Football/USA and Canada task force. NeilCanada mentioned that the CSA used W-D-L and the USSF used W-L-T, so a standard could not be made for both USSF and CSA competitions. Since the CSA is running the competition, W-D-L should be used. Greecepwns (talk) 11:59, 17 June 2008 (UTC)[reply]

American football

[edit]

Hi! It might not have been your intention, but your recent edit to American football removed quite a lot of text with no explanation - not to worry, I have reverted it. If it was intentional, feel free to redo your edit, but please can you add an explanation in the edit summary so that busy-bodies like myself don't jump in and revert? Thanks! StephenBuxton (talk) 12:14, 20 June 2008 (UTC)[reply]

My mistake, I created an American football in the United States article with that information. I forgot to put in an edit summary and accidentally hit enter. My bad. Greecepwns (talk) 12:16, 20 June 2008 (UTC)[reply]
I see - if you're splitting the article, there is a procedure to follow which can be seen at WP:SPLIT. As the new page has now been created, I'll add a null edit so that the edit summary there can be corrected - you may need to do the same on the source page. I'm sorry. I do take responsibility for it, but it was not me. Someone else (my brother, to be specific) did the edit while I was logged in. Greecepwns (talk) 19:00, 7 October 2008 (UTC)[reply]

It has the authority to enact binding solutions for disputes between editors, primarily related to serious behavioural issues that the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the ability to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail. If you wish to participate, you are welcome to review the candidates' statements and submit your choices on the voting page.
