Managing a conflict of interest[edit]

Hello, Gregeusa. We welcome your contributions to Wikipedia, but if you have an external relationship with some of the people, places or things you have written about in the article Pulse~Link, you may have a conflict of interest or close connection to the subject.

All editors are required to comply with Wikipedia's neutral point of view content policy. People who are very close to a subject often have a distorted view of it, which may cause them to inadvertently edit in ways that make the article either too flattering or too disparaging. People with a close connection to a subject are not absolutely prohibited from editing about that subject, but they need to be especially careful about ensuring their edits are verified by reliable sources and writing with as little bias as possible.

Sorry Fred, I am a newbie on the Wiki, but we will take extra care to be neutral. Yes indeed I am close to the company, but as not many people know us, it's hard to have someone realize that CWave, while mentioned elsewhere in the Wiki, is something that we invented, so only a few people will know the details. I intend to have nothing but clear information on the technical aspects and no sales talk of course. When I found that CWave was referenced in relation to other UWB implementations and alternatives, that is when I found that CWave as a search term failed, or actually was posed as an abbreviation for something else.

Gregeusa, you mission (if you choose to accept it) is to report to WP:ADVENTURE, which will give you the basics on how to build an article which will survive on Wikipedia. Additionally, for extra credit, you should read through the links provided to you in the welcome section, they'll be useful in explaining the basics. Bon chance! Jeeze what a storm... I can't readily figure out where the extra message from Fred is, but looks like he has put some "category" on me, sounds almost like a curse..... fine, just delete me from the entire wiki world... I guess you have to be an expert to even start out... nice welcome... looks like it takes a lot more effort to put up a page, or have the time to refine it.... yeah yeah, there's a bunch of rules and articles to read first... well, I have seen a lot of pages where it says "this page needs this and that", and they are NEVER updated or improved or REMOVED.... please indicate how to delete my user identity entirely... let's just make it like it never happened... like forget it entirely thanks...

I am sorry to hear you feel that way Gregeusa. I agree that many articles have problems which take far too long to address, but we need editors, like you, to help with this.
