Proposed deletion of Adam Koralik[edit]

The article Adam Koralik has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

Director of some short films, not notable.

While all contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, content or articles may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{dated prod}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.

Please consider improving the article to address the issues raised. Removing {{dated prod}} will stop the Proposed Deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. The Speedy Deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and Articles for Deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. Prezbo (talk) 18:52, 19 October 2009 (UTC)[reply]

A tag has been placed on FigureItOut Productions requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A7 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be about an organization or company, but it does not indicate how or why the subject is important or significant: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, such articles may be deleted at any time. Please see the guidelines for what is generally accepted as notable, as well as our subject-specific notability guideline for organizations and companies. You may also wish to consider using a Wizard to help you create articles - see the Article Wizard.

If you think that this notice was placed here in error, you may contest the deletion by adding {{hangon}} to the top of the page that has been nominated for deletion (just below the existing speedy deletion or "db" tag), coupled with adding a note on the talk page explaining your position, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the page meets the criterion it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the page that would render it more in conformance with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. Lastly, please note that if the page does get deleted, you can contact one of these admins to request that they userfy the page or have a copy emailed to you. Greetings Grimlock76!

I don't want to seem like I am piling on here, but I dropped by to inform you that the citation request you deleted has been restored, and the reference that you added again has been deleted.

While the IMDB is a wonderful website, and is considered a reliable source to confirm filmographies and such, the imdb is never considered a reliable source for confirming a subject's personal information. The information added at the imdb is not fact checked, and while it may be correct, does not meet the threshold of Wikipedia's reliable source policy. If you can find a reliable source that confirms this person's alumnihood, feel free to add it.

You should also know that if the article on this person is deleted, the person's entry at the school article will likewise be deleted for failing to demonstrate notability.

I wish you the best of luck on your editing. LonelyBeacon (talk) 23:20, 19 October 2009 (UTC)[reply]

October 2009[edit]

Welcome to Wikipedia. Although everyone is welcome to contribute constructively to the encyclopedia, your addition of one or more external links to the page John Turk has been reverted.
Your edit here was reverted by an automated bot that attempts to remove links which are discouraged per our external links guideline from Wikipedia. The external link you added or changed is on my list of links to remove and probably shouldn't be included in Wikipedia. I removed the following link(s): http://www.facebook.com/pages/FigureItOut-Productions/145760850834FigureItOut (matching the regex rule \bfacebook\.com).
If you were trying to insert an external link that does comply with our policies and guidelines, then please accept my creator's apologies and feel free to undo the bot's revert. However, if the link does not comply with our policies and guidelines, but your edit included other, constructive, changes to the article, feel free to make those changes again without re-adding the link. Please read Wikipedia's external links guideline for more information, and consult my list of frequently-reverted sites. For more information about me, see my FAQ page. Thanks! --XLinkBot (talk) 03:25, 31 October 2009 (UTC)

Vandalism warning[edit]

Grimlock76

Please stop adding the name of non-notable directors and films to articles and lists at Wikipedia. In general, to be added to articles, individuals must have their notability established through Wikipedia's notability policy. This means that the person, film, etc must either be the subject of an article here, or eligible for an article. You have attempted in the past to start articles like this, and you have been told they don't meet the notability requirement. Thus, please stop adding them.

Consider this a friendly warning to stop circumventing the website's policies. LonelyBeacon (talk) 02:42, 13 February 2011 (UTC)[reply]
