Mountain Dew

Alright but how does having a picture of burning moonshine help in understanding? It is just confusing and it is not explained in the caption either. It just seems out of place and does not add context to the song imo. Just my opinion. ‡ Єl Cid of ᐺalencia ᐐT₳LKᐬ 02:21, 22 December 2017 (UTC) ‡ Єl Cid of ᐺalencia ᐐT₳LKᐬ 02:21, 22 December 2017 (UTC)

Mrbrklyn

Hi, Guerillero. Since this is a case you're already familiar with, I thought it might be prudent to alert you to yet another apparent sock at [1]. With regards, --Tenebrae (talk) 15:57, 13 January 2018 (UTC)

Le sigh. Thanks for the heads up --Guerillero | Parlez Moi 21:13, 13 January 2018 (UTC)
Hi Guerillero. For some reason (probably because of an image or something), I have MrBrklyn's user talk on my watchlist. Based upon his/her last response, you might want to consider removing talk page access as well because he/she cannot seem to move beyond WP:NOTTHEM. -- Marchjuly (talk) 01:33, 14 January 2018 (UTC)
Just to update, their talk page access was revoked by The Bushranger, so nothing needs to be done here. -- Marchjuly (talk) 08:30, 14 January 2018 (UTC)
As a footnote here, Mrbrkyln2 (talk · contribs), created in and abandoned since 2007, is unblocked, perhaps it should be? - The Bushranger One ping only 08:40, 14 January 2018 (UTC)
I don't see the harm of just letting it be if it was truly abandoned --Guerillero | Parlez Moi 21:26, 14 January 2018 (UTC)

@Anomalocaris: You told me this in Novemeber and my reaction hasn't changed since. BAG has yet to, and won't per policy, approve a bot to change every <center> and <font> tag on the 'pedia. The idea that ops might forceably deprciate this is silly. There are 16 MILLION old tags on en wikipedia alone. Clusterwide, there are close to 100 million old tags. Please don't post this again. --Guerillero | Parlez Moi 18:37, 16 January 2018 (UTC)
Hi Guerillero. Please forgive me, what is BAG?
FYI, this is a real issue; Wikipedia will switch to HTML5. See WP:Linter.
It's not surprising that there hasn't been bot to fix <center> tags as the replacement markup doesn't always do as expected around tables and other elements. It's also not surprising that there hasn't been a bot to fix <font> tags because there are numerous subtleties including non-standard color names, hexadecimal color codes of nonstandard lengths, and other poorly-documented behavior that <font> deals with in its way and <span style> just won't accept.
Most users are cooperating. There is a community of Wikipedians actively working to de-lint Wikipedia, it's not just me. I can't imaging why someone like you working hard to improve Wikipedia wouldn't take 45 seconds to go to Preferences and take care if this; it takes less time than reading this message. Cheers! —Anomalocaris (talk) 19:04, 16 January 2018 (UTC)

(talk page stalker) Guerillero, I'm genuinely curious to know why you'd refuse to change your signature. Wouldn't it take something like a total of three seconds? Ed [talk] [majestic titan] 02:28, 17 January 2018 (UTC)
@The ed17: Fine. In 6 months someone is going to be back to complain about the fact that there is a center tag in my archive box or something else that isn't up to modern spec. Most of the internet was built pre-html 5; these tags aren't going to go anywhere in the near future. --Guerillero | Parlez Moi 03:59, 17 January 2018 (UTC)
