Hello Gutu Bekele. You are currently engaged in an edit war with me on the Hachalu Hundessa article. This is strongly discouraged on Wikipedia and could lead to your account being suspended. The reason I have removed mention of Hundessa's widow's ethnicity is because it isn't relevant to his biography. It may be relevant within Ethiopian cultural/ethnic identity politics, but this benefit seems dubious to me. My impression is that the intention behind an explicit mention of ethnicity here is intended to promote inter-ethnic tension, and this is not recommended as the article should remain neutral. Please cease your edit warring. If you feel that Hundessa's widow's ethnicity should be mentioned in the article, please explain your reasoning. werewolf (talk) 15:28, 17 July 2020 (UTC)[reply]

See WP:AN#User Gutu Bekele creating disruptive edits. You may respond there if you wish. There is a chance you may be blocked for WP:Disruptive editing due to the nationalist flavor of your edits are your lack of communication. EdJohnston (talk) 14:39, 22 July 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Blocked

Stop icon
You have been blocked indefinitely from editing for Edit warring and POV-pushing.
If you think there are good reasons for being unblocked, please read the guide to appealing blocks, then add the following text below the block notice on your talk page: {{unblock|reason=Your reason here ~~~~}}.

Per a complaint at WP:AN to which you never responded. You seem to be engaged in anti-Oromo editing with your repeated reverts at Hachalu Hundessa, constantly adding the phrase 'Oromo gangster group'. The now-deceased Hundessa was an activist who was a member of the Oromo people. More background on these disputes may be seen at 2016 Ethiopian protests. Any admin may lift this block if they become convinced that you will follow Wikipedia policy in the future. Thank you, EdJohnston (talk) 17:17, 23 July 2020 (UTC)[reply]
