Information icon Hello, I'm Chubbles. I noticed that you made an edit concerning content related to a living (or recently deceased) person, but you didn't support your changes with a citation to a reliable source, so I removed it. Wikipedia has a very strict policy concerning how we write about living people, so please help us keep such articles accurate and clear. If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thank you! Chubbles (talk) 16:04, 27 August 2020 (UTC)[reply]

There are a couple of issues here. One is that, as you state, allegations have been made and the story is still unfolding. Wikipedia is not a newspaper, and it's not really the purpose of the site to have up-to-the-minute updates about rapidly unfolding events. We often wait until we know the story before we write the story here. There is a (minimal) amount of information already on the site stating that he was accused, and it is sourced to reliable journalism articles; that's why it's been allowed to stay on the page. Per our policy about living people, we can't have negative biographical information about living persons unless it's sourced to reliable third-party reporting. Instagram is not a reliable source - it's not information that's been properly vetted by journalistic or editorial standards. When and if more information about Toothtaker is reported in newspapers or websites that have editorial control over their sites (so, not crowdsourced sites, social media, or self-published blogs), it can be added here, provided that the sources are also added.
