Why are my edits being reverted to MrX's edits? He's not the author of the article, but I've also incorporated his edits as well. I'm not engaging in any "disruptive editing," as you can see. Being the author doesn't mean you own the article, see WP:OWN. Also their version is better, because your version has a mission statement, which is inherently promotional, see WP:MISSION, and is an overdetailed summary of events, which fails WP:NOTNEWS. There is no mission statement. All I did was quote the mission statement of the group and this was adequately referenced. That's totally different. How was it "overdetailed"? Also MrX's version is incomplete. HardRightTurn (talk) 22:59, 21 May 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Have you not read WP:MISSION, like I linked to? It clearly says that mission statements "rarely tell us anything useful and do not help establish the notability of the company or organization"- therefore we don't need or want them. Instead of reverting, please use the article's talk page to work toward making a version that represents consensus among editors. The best practice at this stage is to discuss, not edit-war.
