Disambiguation link notification for September 15
[edit]Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. An automated process has detected that when you recently edited Tomasz Knapik, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page TVP. Such links are usually incorrect, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of unrelated topics with similar titles. (Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.)

Jaś Kapela moved to draftspace
[edit]An article you recently created, Jaś Kapela, is not suitable as written to remain published. It needs more citations from reliable, independent sources. (?) Information that can't be referenced should be removed (verifiability is of central importance on Wikipedia). I've moved your draft to draftspace (with a prefix of "Draft:
" before the article title) where you can incubate the article with minimal disruption. When you feel the article meets Wikipedia's general notability guideline and thus is ready for mainspace, please click on the "Submit your draft for review!" button at the top of the page. More specifically, his claim to notability should not only be supported by statements regarding the media coverage he received and a number of Youtube views. Feel free to let me know if you have any questions. JBchrch talk 14:00, 29 September 2021 (UTC)
- To editor JBchrch: Hi, his notability is not provided by the Youtube views, since by the fact that he is the author of publications (books and poems): and this section is well-sourced (by giving the ISBNs to them, or the direct link). His appearance in the Kanał Sportowy increased his recognition (hence the links from reliable sources), but I do not treat this as a premise for notability. I would like you to return the article if my explanations are sufficient. Haregokejna (talk) 14:10, 29 September 2021 (UTC)
- But that is not sufficient to assert notability. You need to show in the article that he has received "significant coverage in multiple published[4] secondary sources that are reliable, intellectually independent of each other, and independent of the subject." (WP:BASIC). I don't doubt that you can find those, but you would just need to write something in the article other than "he has controversial views" or "he has received coverage after X". The pl.wiki article, for instance, does a good job at asserting notability. JBchrch talk 14:14, 29 September 2021 (UTC)
- To editor JBchrch: Interesting, since this article was based on its Polish version. I used the same sources as for the publication. As for Kapela's controversial statements; Polish Wikipedia provided a link to the interview on Youtube (I can do the same, although I preferred to link to the independent articles that described this interview). Haregokejna (talk) 14:23, 29 September 2021 (UTC)
- The polish article adds additional information, for instance about his trial. This is what is needed: additional information that demonstrates notability beyond a mere assertion that he received coverage or has controversial views, both of which are not sufficient to confirm notability. JBchrch talk 14:40, 29 September 2021 (UTC)
- To editor JBchrch: Ok, I'll complete the Kapela's trial infos as soon as I have time. Haregokejna (talk) 15:41, 29 September 2021 (UTC)
