Conflict of interest[edit]

Hello, HassE. We welcome your contributions, but if you have an external relationship with the people, places, or things you have written about on Wikipedia, you may have a conflict of interest (COI). Editors with a COI may be unduly influenced by their connection to the topic, and it is important when editing Wikipedia articles that such connections be completely transparent. avoid linking to the Wikipedia article or to the website of your organization in other articles (see WP:SPAM);

Autobiographies[edit]

Hello, and welcome to Wikipedia. We welcome and appreciate your contributions, but it appears you have written or added to an article about yourself, at John Hassard (Organisation Theorist). Creating an autobiography is strongly discouraged – see our guideline on writing autobiographies. If you create such an article, it may be deleted. If what you have done in life is genuinely notable and can be verified according to our policy for articles about living people, someone else will probably create an article about you sooner or later (see Wikipedians with articles). If you wish to add to an existing article about yourself, please propose the changes on its talk page. Please understand that this is an encyclopedia and not a personal web space or social networking site. I whole-heartedly agree with you. This is a topic I have quite a bit of experience with. If I take over from here - and do further research and rewrite it as needed to comply with Wikipedia guidelines, would that work?

Any changes that would be desired by the subject or person with a COI issue, would have to be requested according to the guidelines. No further changes should be made to the article by this user, if it is as it appears, either the subject or someone close to the subject of this article.--CaroleHenson (talk) 00:31, 23 November 2016 (UTC)[reply]
