The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to impose binding solutions to disputes between editors, primarily for serious conduct disputes the community has been unable to resolve. A tag has been placed on Live Ocean requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section G12 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the page appears to be an unambiguous copyright infringement. This page appears to be a direct copy from https://www.sail-world.com/news/223965/Burling-and-Tuke-announce-new-ocean-ambition. For legal reasons, we cannot accept copyrighted text or images taken from other web sites or printed material, and as a consequence, your addition will most likely be deleted. - I'm afraid that even if the text originates with the charity we can't use it without evidence of permission. A statement by somebody on the internet that the charity asked you to create the page doesn't qualify because (a) we have no idea if you are telling the truth and (b) asking you to create the page doesn't mean they made the content available under the licence Wikipedia uses. There are instructions here for providing evidence of permission but it is generally better to rewrite the content instead. If you work for the charity you should also read WP:COI before making any further edits about it. Hut 8.5 07:54, 15 November 2019 (UTC)
