Hello, Healthfirstapp, and welcome to Wikipedia! I hope you like the place and decide to stay. Unfortunately, one or more of the pages you created, such as Health First (app), may not conform to some of Wikipedia's guidelines, and may not be retained.

If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.

You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.

A tag has been placed on Health First (app), requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section G11 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the page seems to be unambiguous advertising which only promotes a company, product, group, service or person and would need to be fundamentally rewritten in order to become encyclopedic. Please read the guidelines on spam and Wikipedia:FAQ/Organizations for more information.

If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be removed without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, and you wish to retrieve the deleted material for future reference or improvement, then please contact the deleting administrator. Welcome to Wikipedia. I saw that you edited or created Health First (app), and I noticed that your username, "Healthfirstapp", may not comply with our username policy. Please note that you may not use a username that represents the name of a company, group, organization, product, or website. Examples of usernames that are not allowed include "XYZ Company", "MyWidgetsUSA.com", and "Foobar Museum of Art". However, you are invited to use a username that contains such a name if it identifies you personally, such as "Jack Smith at XYZ Company", "Mark at WidgetsUSA", or "FoobarFan87".

Please also note that Wikipedia does not allow accounts to be shared by multiple people, and that you may not advocate for or promote any company, group, organization, product, or website, regardless of your username. Moreover, I recommend that you read our conflict of interest guideline. If you are a single individual and are willing to contribute to Wikipedia in an unbiased manner, please create a new account or request a change of username, by completing this form, choosing a username that complies with our username policy. If you believe that your username does not violate our policy, please leave a note here explaining why. Thank you. Meters (talk) 20:56, 9 February 2017 (UTC)[reply]

[edit]

There have been two problems identified with this account: the account has been used for advertising or promotion, which is contrary to the purpose of Wikipedia, and your username indicates that the account represents a business or other organisation or group, which is also against policy, as an account must be for just one person. Because of those problems, the account has been blocked indefinitely from editing.

If you intend to make useful contributions about some topic other than your business or organisation, you may request an unblock. To do so, post the text {{unblock-spamun|Your proposed new username|Your reason here}} at the bottom of your talk page. Replace the text "Your proposed new username" with a new username you are willing to use. See Special:CentralAuth to search for available usernames. Your new username will need to meet our username policy. Replace the text "Your reason here" with your reason to be unblocked. In this reason, you must:

  • Convince us that you understand the reason for your block and that you will not repeat the kind of edits for which you were blocked.
  • Describe in general terms the contributions that you intend to make if you are unblocked.
If you believe this block was made in error, you may appeal this block by adding the text {{unblock|Your reason here}} at the bottom of your talk page, but you should read the guide to appealing blocks first. RickinBaltimore (talk) 21:39, 9 February 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Request reason:

I apologize for my infraction of the wikipedia guidelines. I am working on a project for a company I just started with, and they asked me to post on Wikipedia about the company. I did not throughly read the guidelines beforehand, and did not want the contributions I made for the company be under the same name as I would post in my own life, so I could separate what I was doing at work from my own personal time. I was going to be the only one to ever post from the account, but it would have been as part of my work. I would like to request an unblock so I can make meaningful contributions from myself as a person instead of as part of the company. The challenging part is that my personal computer is also used as my work computer, so I cannot separate them entirely it would seem. I now have a much better understanding of how Wikipedia operates, and the guidelines for posts and usernames.

Accept reason:

Per blocking admin. Please be sure to follow Wikipedia's policies and guidelines, and don't be afraid to ask questions. Ks0stm (TCGE) 20:45, 23 February 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Healthfirstapp (talk) 20:38, 14 February 2017 (UTC) We already have a user by that name, so please choose another name (and please use the "account availability check" link to check). Just edit the existing request - no need to create a new one. Boing! said Zebedee (talk) 10:37, 15 February 2017 (UTC)[reply]

It seems that they understood the reason for their block, and look to edit constructively. I'm ok with it. RickinBaltimore (talk) 20:17, 23 February 2017 (UTC)[reply]
