Shacks In Namibia
Namibia, a land well known for its tourist attraction and a country full of culture, different ethnic groups all with their own cultures. Yet with all this beauty, they do not live in descent homes.
The matter of houses and plots costing a lot of money in Namibia, is a big matter. Reason being why so many citizens in The Land of The Brave are building shacks rather than concrete homes. This is quite a delicate issue and thus need immediate attendance from the ministry.
Independence we have achieved yet it looks more like we are slaves in our country. Living in shacks with no electricity, using public toilets and water and this is the life we pass on to our children. Misery and poverty become a norm in our country, even when we have big dreams, such as Vision 2030. How than will we achieve it, if the basics are still not fixed yet.
Our country has a lot of land that is not occupied. This leads to the question, can't we use this open planes, to build proper homes for our nation. YES, no one wants to live in a shack. Matter of fact, no even those who live in them feel proud to be there. Shacks cause a lot of fires and especially in homes where they use gs stoves because they do not have electricity.
