Fair use rationale for File:Scratte.jpg

[edit]

Thanks for uploading or contributing to File:Scratte.jpg. I notice the file page specifies that the file is being used under fair use but there is not a suitable explanation or rationale as to why each specific use in Wikipedia constitutes fair use. Please go to the file description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale.

If you have uploaded other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on those pages too. You can find a list of 'file' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "File" from the dropdown box. Note that any non-free media lacking such an explanation will be deleted one week after they have been uploaded, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. fetch·comms 22:54, 25 May 2010 (UTC)[reply]

How do add it to page/template. --Hjfhksdjf (talk) 22:58, 25 May 2010 (UTC)[reply]
Click "edit" at the top and add a {{fair use rationale}}. Make sure it's all filled out. Also, please reduce the image--it's way too big, copyrighted images under fair use should be maybe 300px each side. fetch·comms 23:26, 25 May 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Welcome to Wikipedia. Although everyone is welcome to contribute to Wikipedia, at least one of your recent edits, such as the one you made to List of Ice Age characters, did not appear to be constructive and has been reverted or removed. Please use the sandbox for any test edits you would like to make, and read the welcome page to learn more about contributing constructively to this encyclopedia. The reverted edit can be found here. Thank you. ~NerdyScienceDude () 00:39, 26 May 2010 (UTC)[reply]

This is the final warning you will receive regarding your disruptive edits. If you vandalize Wikipedia again, as you did at Anacondas: Trail of Blood, you may be blocked from editing without further notice. Moocha (talk) 22:24, 29 May 2010 (UTC)[reply]

I've removed the per character images you added to this page. Per WP:NFLISTS, the use of per character images like this is not supported. I've tagged all the images for deletion as being orphaned. Please do not re-add the images. If you have questions, ask. Thanks, --Hammersoft (talk) 20:36, 27 May 2010 (UTC)[reply]

  • I've re-removed the images. They violate WP:NFLISTS. Please read that link. Please. And don't re-add the images again. We don't include fair use images of every single character in every single movie ever made. We don't operate in this way. That's why we have WP:NFLISTS, to explain this. If you have questions, then ask, but do NOT re-add the images again. Thank you, --Hammersoft (talk) 12:27, 28 May 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Your name has been mentioned in connection with a sockpuppetry case. Please refer to Wikipedia:Sockpuppet investigations/Alexcas11 for evidence. Please make sure you make yourself familiar with the guide to responding to cases before editing the evidence page. -- AnmaFinotera (talk · contribs) 21:37, 29 May 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Please do not attack other editors, as you did here: Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Scratte (fictional character). If you continue, you may be blocked from editing Wikipedia. HalfShadow 22:16, 29 May 2010 (UTC)[reply]

This is the final warning you will receive regarding your disruptive comments.
If you continue to make personal attacks on other people as you did at User talk: HalfShadow, you may be blocked from editing without further notice. Comment on content, not on other contributors or people. HalfShadow 22:18, 29 May 2010 (UTC)[reply]

This is the only warning you will receive regarding your disruptive edits. If you vandalize Wikipedia again, as you did to Saw VI, you may be blocked from editing without further notice. Mike Allen 22:38, 29 May 2010 (UTC)[reply]

You have been blocked indefinitely as a sock puppet. (blocked by –MuZemike 23:19, 29 May 2010 (UTC))[reply]
