Welcome![edit]

Hello, HollandKatherine, and welcome to Wikipedia! My name is Shalor and I work with the Wiki Education Foundation; I help support students who are editing as part of a class assignment.

I hope you enjoy editing here. If you haven't already done so, please check out the student training library, which introduces you to editing and Wikipedia's core principles. You may also want to check out the Teahouse, a community of Wikipedia editors dedicated to helping new users. Below are some resources to help you get started editing.

Grammar[edit]

Hi! I saw that you made some edits to the article List of unlawfully killed transgender people concerning grammar. This was reverted by Funcrunch, who noted in the edit summary that "This is a worldwide article and doesn't need to use US English specifically". I wanted to give you a head's up about that - with non-US specific articles it's common for the writing to mirror the spelling and grammar in other countries, notably British English. It doesn't need to really be fixed, in other words. There's no way for you to have known that, of course, so I wanted to drop a note about this.

Let me know if you have any questions! Shalor (Wiki Ed) (talk) 19:17, 24 January 2020 (UTC)[reply]
