Hello, Hongtul, and welcome to Wikipedia! My name is Shalor and I work with Wiki Education; I help support students who are editing as part of a class assignment.

I hope you enjoy editing here. If you haven't already done so, please check out the student training library, which introduces you to editing and Wikipedia's core principles. You may also want to check out the Teahouse, a community of Wikipedia editors dedicated to helping new users. Below are some resources to help you get started editing.

Image without license

[edit]

Unspecified source/license for File:512px BroxSistersRadioTeddyBear 0.jpg

[edit]

Thanks for uploading File:512px BroxSistersRadioTeddyBear 0.jpg. The image has been identified as not specifying the copyright status of the image, which is required by Wikipedia's policy on images. Even if you created the image yourself, you still need to release it so Wikipedia can use it. If you don't indicate the copyright status of the image on the image's description page, using an appropriate copyright tag, it may be deleted some time after the next seven days. If you made this image yourself, you can use copyright tags like {{PD-self}} (to release all rights), {{self|cc-by-sa-4.0}} (to require that you be credited), or any tag here - just go to the image, click edit, and add one of those. If you have uploaded other images, please verify that you have provided copyright information for them as well.

For more information on using images, see the following pages:

This is an automated notice by MifterBot. For assistance on the image use policy, see Wikipedia:Media copyright questions. NOTE: Once you correct this, please remove the tag from the image's page. --MifterBot (TalkContribsOwner) 16:45, 28 May 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Poor sourcing

[edit]

Can you please stop referencing material to sources that are basically fan sites such as https://web.mit.edu/most/Public/Tesla1/etradict2.htm. The errors in the site are obvious:

  • "Tesla becomes Edison's associate" - no, Tesla was one of 200 employees at an Edison electric subsidiary
  • "Tesla erects a new and bigger radio station and sends radio signals over a distance of more than 40 km." - Tesla did not construct "radio" stations, he was building earth conducting wireless power, and he never transmitted anything more than a few hundred feet
  • "Tesla conducts his famous experiment controlling, by radio, the movements of a boat model out on the sea from the distance of several kilometers." - err, no, it was in a pool in Madison Square Garden.

In general, History of radio is about major milestones in radio history --- minor dead ends, also rans, and general fan cruft should be avoided. thanks
