Image copyright problem with Image:Knsstrview2006.JPG
[edit]Thank you for uploading Image:Knsstrview2006.JPG. However, it currently is missing information on its copyright status. Wikipedia takes copyright very seriously. It may be deleted soon, unless we can determine the license and the source of the image. If you know this information, then you can add a copyright tag to the image description page.
If you have any questions, please feel free to ask them at the media copyright questions page. Thanks again for your cooperation. NOTE: once you correct this, please remove the tag from the image's page. STBotI (talk) 21:48, 8 January 2008 (UTC)
Hi. Rather than delete Kensington, Gauteng, I have deleted the copy of it at Kensington, Johannesburg and moved the original into its place. Since Wikipedia's content is not released into public domain but licensed under GFDL, Wikipedia's contributors retain a right to authorship credit for their work, which we satisfy through keeping a record of the content history. Anyone may look to see who added what material when. When pages are copied & pasted, as another editor did to get the material to Kensington, Johannesburg, that authorship history is lost. In any event, the material is now located where you believe it proper, though not quite by the method you proposed. :) If you have any questions about this, please feel free to drop me a line at my talk page. --Moonriddengirl (talk) 21:36, 19 May 2008 (UTC)
- Hello. The move of this page has been contested. It is restored to its original position. If you would like to discuss your reasons for the move and find consensus for moving it again, please do so at Talk:Kensington, Gauteng. --Moonriddengirl (talk) 19:34, 11 June 2008 (UTC)
