I'm into you

Hey there, Ending Start already began creating the page earlier today. I suggest you help edit it there instead. As it stands, Its not yet notable anyway. — Lil_niquℇ 1 [talk] 02:40, 3 April 2011 (UTC)

P.s. i love you're page notice... it looks quite familiar :P — Lil_niquℇ 1 [talk] 02:42, 3 April 2011 (UTC)
I wouldn't bother with the stub as its not notable per WP:NSONGS... unless there's a national chart it will need to be reverted. That's the general consensus for the time being — Lil_niquℇ 1 [talk] 02:44, 3 April 2011 (UTC)
Aww well I'm happy for people to use some of my coding I just prefer if they ask first. It can be a bit of shock and confusion when your notice is staring back at you... makes you think you're writing on your own talk page lol! — Lil_niquℇ 1 [talk] 02:48, 3 April 2011 (UTC)
Tut-tut. I'll pay attention to it! the cover won't be deleted for seven days... I'm sure the snadbox can be made notable in the time because the song will have charted. Copying information is a big NO-NO. Underneath the editing box you see a statement from wikipedia saying "You irrevocably agree to release your contributions under the CC-BY-SA 3.0 License and the GFDL." Copying and pasting information from one article to another breaks the attribution and results in a copyright violation. As an editor of experience you should know by now WP:Other stuff exists ... — Lil_niquℇ 1 [talk] 02:53, 3 April 2011 (UTC)
Just return the page to its redirect... the cover will remain on the server for a while (remember the name so you can find it later)... though i wouldn't be too stressed, covers are easily re-uploaded, in which time notability should be able to be established. Nope you're not allowed to copy information from a page-in-progress to a sandbox or vise-versa. When the sandbox is ready... it has to be histomerged to preserve its integrity and prevent the copyvio (through lost attribution). — Lil_niquℇ 1 [talk] 03:16, 3 April 2011 (UTC)

Re: 2, almost three years later...

BTW congratulations!!!!!!!!!!!! on your first GA. Well done ... you worked very hard on it. — Lil_niquℇ 1 [talk] 02:59, 3 April 2011 (UTC)

Congratulations!!!! :) You deserve that. You've worked so hard on the project and the article :) Novice7 (talk) 04:27, 3 April 2011 (UTC)
Well done!! You did an amazing job!!! --ĈÞЯİŒ 1ооо 15:31, 3 April 2011 (UTC)
Congrats man! I don't think I can comment about the FLC though, I worked on it as well. nding·start 19:38, 3 April 2011 (UTC)
Oh, oops. xD That's too bad, but I don't think it's quite good enough to be a FLC tbh. With time, maybe. nding·start 20:26, 3 April 2011 (UTC)

"Fixing" redirects

OK, I see what you mean. Congratulations for your first GA :). Pixelyoshi (discuter) 16:11, 3 April 2011 (UTC)

Why did you create this ? Pixelyoshi (discuter) 11:48, 5 April 2011 (UTC)

Re: better than today

Can't remember which part OF MOS its in... but in the section about images and emeddded files it does say that media items need to alternate from left-to-right. — Lil_niquℇ 1 [talk] 23:17, 3 April 2011 (UTC)

btw i read thru the article. congratulations. you've worked immensly hard on it and achieved far beyond what i thought was possible given the minimal reception the song recieved. — Lil_niquℇ 1 [talk] 23:18, 3 April 2011 (UTC)
They should alternate, thus music samples (right) — music video image (left) — live performance image (right) — Lil_niquℇ 1 [talk] 23:33, 3 April 2011 (UTC)
Yeah course... sorry my commment wasn't clear. Either LRL or RLR... :D — Lil_niquℇ 1 [talk] 23:37, 3 April 2011 (UTC)

Um?

Could you explain what User_talk:Sugababes2011#Hello means? I'm not really getting the purpose of that message, or even what it means. Cheers, GFOLEY FOUR— 00:07, 4 April 2011 (UTC)

Better Than Today

Sorry it didn't make it through FAC. I thought it was pretty good. You might want to have a look at X (Kylie Minogue album), which has problems with a lack of references and some mawky prose. Hawkeye7 (talk) 19:57, 4 April 2011 (UTC)

Im afraid the article is miles away from FA... Look at other examples e.g. 4 Minutes (Madonna song)... even my best work When Love Takes Over, which i worked on for six months, failed... — Lil_niquℇ 1 [talk] 02:39, 9 April 2011 (UTC)

Elaborating on the X situation, the article is a complete WP:OR wasteland since that user added in all that background info. All the info is correct, but he/she failed to give any sources, though I am sure he/she got it from somewhere. It has potential to become another FA for Kylie, but not at the moment. I think after I finish making two pages for songs from Circus, I'll either go work on X or Body Language. Most likely the latter, but I'm not sure. --ĈÞЯİŒ 1ооо 02:52, 9 April 2011 (UTC)

Well, I want to do the tougher ones first, then move on to the ones that are newer and easier. --ĈÞЯİŒ 1ооо 03:25, 9 April 2011 (UTC)
Oh, yes, you do have a point. *sigh* Why can't sites just keep their shit straight? --ĈÞЯİŒ 1ооо 03:40, 9 April 2011 (UTC)
Also, I am very happy for you getting the Aphrodite song page here to stay. Personally, it is one of my favorite songs from the album and I know it would have been a single if she hadn't chosen BTT. --ĈÞЯİŒ 1ооо 03:43, 9 April 2011 (UTC)
Why don't we both take it? You can co-nom for GA articles. --ĈÞЯİŒ 1ооо 13:02, 9 April 2011 (UTC)

Also, about the below discussion, I really hope Simon closes this AfD himself. It is ridiculous in ever aspect and his arguments are quite ludicrous. It seems he is well respected in other areas of Wikipedia, but he needs to learn a bit more on WP:SONGS. --ĈÞЯİŒ 1ооо 03:29, 9 April 2011 (UTC)

Ellie Goulding singles discussion

I would appreciate it if you took part in this discussion about the deletion of all of the articles of Ellie Goulding's singles. Thank you so much! nding·start 00:41, 7 April 2011 (UTC)

RE:

I must say, thank you for introducing me to The Saturdays. I had no idea who they were, but after watching some of their videos, I realize that they are great! I will be glad to help! --ĈÞЯİŒ 1ооо 22:29, 7 April 2011 (UTC)

Oh, I know them. They're pretty good. --ĈÞЯİŒ 1ооо 01:09, 8 April 2011 (UTC)

Wow! Good lord, what is wrong with people today?! I'm not sure... I guess so. --ĈÞЯİŒ 1ооо 11:25, 8 April 2011 (UTC)

" ...barely anything about the articles... "

I said "...these articles are not unexpandable stubs. They are roughly the size of a typical single article, with the kind of material that is typical of the area. They each have crossed the bright-line test in WP:NSONGS by charting. More reviews could be added. So, deletion isn't really the answer. The articles are permitted by WP:NSONGS." That certainly seems like sufficient article discussion to me. AFDs actually are the place where we are supposed to discuss our reasoning for our decisions. I argued for merge on the basis that nearly all of our single articles could be merged, and leaving separate articles verges on abuse of WP:NFCC. So what's the problem?—Kww(talk) 14:46, 9 April 2011 (UTC)
