Put Your Hands Up construction?
Hey. Ofcourse I was the co-creator of the article for the sandbox edit Wikipedia:WikiProject Kylie Minogue/Sandbox/2, but I was wondering if we are able to edit the page with reliable sources or so on. Thanks. GirlsAlouud (talk · contribs} 04:03, 29 May 2011 (UTC)

- Alright. But what do you mean with not working on the lead? ℥nding·start 23:47, 3 May 2011 (UTC)
- LOL. It is actually really annoying. I like the idea, but it's too like o_______________________o. ℥nding·start 00:00, 4 May 2011 (UTC)
Sure, I'll help out :) Where's the sandbox? Novice7 (talk) 05:32, 4 May 2011 (UTC)
- Hi IHWIC, I'm afraid I cannot work on the article atm as I have a lot of projects piled up (including three Kylie articles). I'll try to help out. Sorry :( Novice7 (talk) 09:30, 13 May 2011 (UTC)

Request for feedback
Hi IHelpWhenICan, I was wondering if I could ask for some help. I am writing an article on an Indonesian album and was wondering if I have proven notability to the standards of Wikiproject albums. The article I am working on is at User:Crisco 1492/Badai Pasti Berlalu (album). I would appreciate any feedback, but I would prefer that the article not be moved to mainspace yet; I am planning on doing a big Did You Know? nomination when I finish the related articles (novel, film, and author; song is pretty much finished). Thanks for any help you (or your stalkers) can give! Crisco 1492 (talk) 11:18, 13 May 2011 (UTC)
- Also, seeing as you are a member of Wikiproject Songs, could you take a look at User:Crisco 1492/Badai Pasti Berlalu (song) as well? Thanks. Crisco 1492 (talk) 11:42, 13 May 2011 (UTC)
- Thanks for the reply. I will change the phrasing to "Rolling Stone Indonesia listed it as the best Indonesian album of all time." As for notability issues, one of the things listed at WP:MUSIC is "(a work) has received a prestigious award". If these were to be AfD'd I'd cite that; being listed as the best local album of all time or third best local song of all time by a major music magazine seems to count. Crisco 1492 (talk) 23:40, 13 May 2011 (UTC)
- Oh yes, as for citing the track listing... It seems to be a criteria for Good Article or Featured Article status. Start and C are generally more lenient. Crisco 1492 (talk) 23:48, 13 May 2011 (UTC)

Re: Headlines
Sorry if it seamed harsh (I'm guessing my edit No!) is what you're referring to? I didn't see it as harsh because as an experienced editor I thought you would have known by now that we do not list albums in multiple chronologies. Granted EPs are normally listed seperately, when a band has only released 2 studio albums and 2 EPs with their EP-album being more successful than the others it seems illogical to break the chain anyway. — Lil_℧niquℇ №1 [talk] 02:48, 20 May 2011 (UTC)
- Apologies again, it was actually a little harsh of me. I had an exam yesterday and i've been snapping a lot lately. The Fame Monster is a contentious issue because there were lots of arguments over with its an EP or album or both etc. hence that's a special situation. There wasn't really that issue with Headlines! plus the label marketed it as a mini album though in reality mini albums don't exist in the industry any more. — Lil_℧niquℇ №1 [talk] 02:56, 20 May 2011 (UTC)
Hiya
Ooh. I assumed you didn't like Kylie till I came here. Glad to see an American who appreciates the work of La Minogue! (Paul237 (talk) 23:21, 20 May 2011 (UTC))
The Downward Spiral GA review, resumed.
Over the course of a week, I expanded that Nine Inch Nails article about The Downward Spiral (1994), their second studio album. What I edit there has nothing to do about wiki-vandalism, but I stretched it longer in size, not bigger than a haunted mansion. According to my computer, the size of files for the article I copied to a USB flash drive were 259 KB. Whereby Wikipedia's words, it is 66,161 bytes. Both measures are closer to that of the Jaws (film) article.
But at least you've to need to continue your GA review on that article, right now recently. '| () () `'/ I> (talk) 01:26, 21 May 2011 (UTC)

Okay, I'm sorry for the rudeness. But are you still in GA review for The Downward Spiral? '| () () `'/ I> (talk) 23:58, 24 May 2011 (UTC)

Put Your Hands Up
Is it really a single?!?!?! I think I'm about to burst with joy! Somehow, I knew she wouldn't give up on Aphrodite, yet she still made a wrong single choice. Has she not noticed that so many fans have been screaming for her to release the title track ever since the album dropped? PYHU is an excellent song, but I doubt it will stop the lower chart peaks she has been experiencing. Also, can I maybe ask you to vote for incubating the article instead of simply deleting it? Even though the article has little information, the release date is swiftly approaching and things are sure to come in. --ĈÞЯİŒ 1ооо 14:05, 21 May 2011 (UTC)
- lol I have such a terrible tendency to sometimes do that in these long deletion discussions. I'll go stike my vote. --ĈÞЯİŒ 1ооо 16:06, 21 May 2011 (UTC)
RE:DYK
Not really a simple explaination, but DYK's are reserved for new articles (created in last 5 days) or articles expanded 5× their original size. If you go to WP:DYK it explains the process quite simply. Example DYK's that I've done are Talk:Gone (Nelly song), Talk:On the Floor, Talk:Hold It Against Me and Talk:Coming Home (Diddy-Dirty Money song). Hope that helps? — Lil_℧niquℇ №1 [talk] 17:34, 21 May 2011 (UTC)
What do you think about the cover? I seriously doubt that it is official and I swear to God that I have seen this picture before. It just looks like a long gone version of Britney. --ĈÞЯİŒ 1ооо 17:39, 21 May 2011 (UTC)

RE:
Um?... When I edit a page, I do say what I have done like the Kylie page I had said that I added information of her recent single, Extended Play and Boxset. It features links and I say that I have made a summary of what I said. From now I read the View History and I see my name and the summary I had written. Isn't that good?. Im really confused. GirlsAlouud (talk · contribs} 01:41, 22 May 2011 (UTC)
Oah I kinda get you. Because usually when I write in articles and check the View History, it comes up only grey writing. Its probably to come up grey then black writing. So if it said "Edit Summary", do i have to write this:
"/* RE: */ Reply" - or along those lines. I get what your saying, I just don't know how to write it. Sorry for this problem. I am quiet bad doing this. GirlsAlouud (talk · contribs} 02:03, 22 May 2011 (UTC)
I think I probably do now. GirlsAlouud (talk · contribs} 03:34, 22 May 2011 (UTC)
Possible source
What do you think about this site? --ĈÞЯİŒ 1ооо 16:40, 22 May 2011 (UTC)
- Yes, but AOL calls their sites "blogs" as well. They don't mean in a way where it is just some guys that use their free time to post a bunch of things. --ĈÞЯİŒ 1ооо 16:52, 22 May 2011 (UTC)
WP:RSN? --ĈÞЯİŒ 1ооо 17:17, 22 May 2011 (UTC)
Yes! They found it a "weak source", but that it would be fine to use it for information on the album. This site will be excellent for the mass OR of a background section on the X article. --ĈÞЯİŒ 1ооо 12:34, 27 May 2011 (UTC)
RE: Till the End of Time
OK, I went in and did what I could in an hour. I really like the song so I will try my best to make time to work on the page. --ĈÞЯİŒ 1ооо 01:10, 24 May 2011 (UTC)
- Oh most definitely yes! I find the song better than RTWG, though only by a bit, since I really like Run the World. It will make an excellent second single, I am sure, unless she has some Darkchild, Tricky, or Stargate produced gem as part of her 60 recorded songs for the album. --ĈÞЯİŒ 1ооо 01:32, 24 May 2011 (UTC)
- lol. I know. Kylie does that too. I can't imagine how many brilliant songs were wasted during the X recording process. --ĈÞЯİŒ 1ооо 01:50, 24 May 2011 (UTC)
- That's so funny. I have already stated an article in my sandbox as well 3 days ago. Lol. Jivesh • Talk2Me 04:51, 24 May 2011 (UTC)
Thanks
Thanks for explaining how a song can chart even if it has been given full release on the Why Don't You Love Me talk page. You was the only one out of that entire massive thread that answered my question. calvin999 (talk) 11:54, 24 May 2011 (UTC)

Please don't leave Wikipedia because someone said it's your own interest to get the article deleted. I don't know how to say it but, please don't go. I'll comment on the AfD now. Novice7 (talk) 04:36, 26 May 2011 (UTC)

Question about citations
Hi IHelpWhenICan, I was wondering if there is a template to cite releases of music videos (VCDs or DVDs). I am working on for the album Senyawa and want to add that three of its songs were made into music videos, but I am not sure how to cite it. Thanks. Crisco 1492 (talk) 08:13, 29 May 2011 (UTC)
