advice

[edit]

I see you have written a linked group of articles about Shelby E. L. Pruett, and his two companies, covering pretty much the same material. I think there's potential for perhaps one article: EGM appears to me to be a subsidiary importance to EGC, and the person, who may go on to do other things, is more notable than either. I have therefore merged the two articles under his name, with the appropriate redirects. Since I am acting here as an editor, not an administrator, you are within your rights to revert this. But it's only fair to tell you that in that case I or someone else am very likely to nominate all three of them for deletion by our regular AfD process, & think there is a fairly good chance that they will all 3 be deleted. Better one strong article than 3 weak ones.

Of all admins here, I am considered one of the most sympathetic to articles on this type of subject; please consider taking my advice. It's the best way to ensure the material you have been working on stays in Wikipedia. DGG ( talk ) 23:07, 28 September 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Thank you for the advice. As author of these articles, I have had a professional relationship originally with the organization Mr. Pruett founded - Equity Capital Management. I am not an of employee Mr. Pruett or any of the related entities, however, I am an independent content writer. It is my absolute priority to keep all contributions to Wikipedia neutral and objective, with notable support of the facts as stated and will heed your recommendations.

If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.

You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.

A tag has been placed on Equity Global Management requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A7 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be about a company, corporation or organization that does not credibly indicate how or why the subject is important or significant: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, such articles may be deleted at any time. Please read more about what is generally accepted as notable.

If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, and you wish to retrieve the deleted material for future reference or improvement, then please contact the deleting administrator.
