Managing a conflict of interest
[edit]Hello, Ianatwdigital. We welcome your contributions, but if you have an external relationship with the people, places or things you have written about in the page Working in the Theatre (series), you may have a conflict of interest (COI). Editors with a conflict of interest may be unduly influenced by their connection to the topic. See the conflict of interest guideline and FAQ for organizations for more information. We ask that you:
- avoid editing or creating articles about yourself, your family, friends, colleagues, company, organization or competitors;
- propose changes on the talk pages of affected articles (you can use the {{request edit}} template);
- disclose your conflict of interest when discussing affected articles (see Wikipedia:Conflict of interest#How to disclose a COI);
- avoid linking to your organization's website in other articles (see WP:Spam);
- do your best to comply with Wikipedia's content policies.
In addition, you are required by the Wikimedia Foundation's terms of use to disclose your employer, client, and affiliation with respect to any contribution which forms all or part of work for which you receive, or expect to receive, compensation. See Wikipedia:Paid-contribution disclosure.
Also, editing for the purpose of advertising, publicising, or promoting anyone or anything is not permitted. Thank you. HickoryOughtShirt?4 (talk) 19:15, 23 October 2019 (UTC)
Moved to draft
[edit]I moved your new creation to Draft:Emilio Sosa. As you declared a COI on your user page in regards to this article, you should take this through Wikipedia:WikiProject Articles for creation/Submissions.--Eostrix (🦉 hoot hoot🦉) 17:03, 20 July 2021 (UTC)
Hallo and thanks for your work on this article.
There are a couple of problems. The formatting wasn't right: starting a line with a space leads to it being formatted quite oddly. The way to produce a two-level bulleted list is to use two asterisks at the start of the indented lines. I think I've fixed it, though not sure about the Digital+Hybrid 2023 award, where the same heading seemed to be there twice.
And please check all your links. You linked to at least 3 disambiguation pages: I fixed one and tagged two others. You have also linked to various plain wrong pages: check Sanctuary City which doesn't lead to a play, and Ben Moss which doesn't lead to a music director (unless he's a very versatile person), and the odds are that there are more. Just because a link goes blue doesn't mean that it's leading to the topic you've got in mind: please always check. Thanks. PamD 21:55, 30 October 2024 (UTC)
- The link which alerted me to this page was to Elizabeth Williamson, and I doubt very much that she's the right one. PamD 21:57, 30 October 2024 (UTC)
- Thank you so much. I updated the links to Ben Moss, Sanctuary City and Elizabeth Williamson. I will continue to check through everything. Ianatwdigital (talk) 22:02, 30 October 2024 (UTC)
