iCab Pakistan

iCAB is an application based logistics service that is headquartered in Islamabad, Pakistan. The aim of the company is to provide fast, reliable and safe services at an affordable price to the general public. Unlike its international counterparts, such as Uber & Careem, iCAB not only provide a local taxi service but it also provides intercity transport, courier services, ambulance services as well as event-based transport services such as picnic rides and chauffeurs for weddings. iCAB began its services with a test launch on the 14th of August 2017 in the Islamabad region, with a registered fleet of 150 vehicles. The company was founded by Mr. Faizan Masood. The objective behind this development was to promote the local taxi owners by providing them with a proper technological upgrade as well as to provide training on how best to make their business profitable. The service centralizes the street transport and takes it to the next level. Another positive that is aimed at through this initiative will be improving the driving sense and reducing accidents through continuous monitoring and performance evaluations. Grooming the drivers professionally will financially empower them and raise their standard of living. The improved cab services, with a better and professional environment, will also benefit the public. iCAB services can be accessed from Facebook, Twitter and their cellular apps are available for both Android and iOS. The fare calculation is based on distance (per km), thus standardizing the fare and relieving the customers from the hassles of seeking discounts. iCAB services include: • Cab Hailing Service: Vehicles of medium to large build, with or without air-conditioning, for any form of travel, local or intercity. • Emergency Medical Transfer Service: In emergency conditions vans with excessive roof are available as ambulances and trained staff accompanies patients to medical facilities. Another option is to facilitate patients with their routine travelling. • Regular Pick & Drop Services: Pick & drop services are available for regular travel to specified locations such as workplace, market places, industrial space, airports and academic establishments. • Corporate Business Transfers: Provides transport for corporate passenger’s daily traveling, company occasions, conferences, events, conferences, seminars, exhibitions and different enterprise transfers with a variety of vehicles. • Courier services: secure and On-time supply of various objects including personal, tutorial or confidential paperwork, lab samples, authorized paperwork, automobile components or any digital merchandise from a retailer within the city limits. • Pet transport services: Provides simple and secure transport for pets within the city. • Special Transport for the elderly and the impaired: Provides special dedicated transport for the handicapped and bodily impaired individuals for normal or occasional visits with trained workers and customized vans (with special seating and other necessities). • Relocation services: Provides competent home moving services. • Touring services: Transport and stay facilities for touring within the country.
